Jack's heart raced as he entered the garden, the soft glow of the moon revealing an emptiness that sent a chill down his spine. The familiar faces of Lily, Emelia, and George were conspicuously absent. A furrowed brow betrayed his growing concern.

Instinctively, Jack reached into his pocket, retrieving his phone with a mix of hope and worry. Dialing Lily's number, he strained to hear the faint ring emanating from somewhere within the garden. Following the sound, he discovered Lily's abandoned phone on a chair. A perplexed frown deepened as he picked it up, realizing that Lily was nowhere to be found. Maybe she had gone inside with Emelia and George. He thought as he rambled about in his search for Lily.

Leaving the garden in search of answers, Jack spotted Lily emerging from the main building. Her labored breaths hinted at an untold story. Under the gentle moonlight, Lily's eyes met Jack's, and a small wave broke the tension.
