Tyler ordered his assistant to send the information which was given by Maevie to those people who were assigned to retrieve the footage. And having done with the dinner, he stepped out of the private room.

Came the notification of the system. Maevie did not waste a second and played the video. The floating screen in front of her showed the picture of a car which was slowly coming closer towards it. But it stopped before it reached the junction of the roads.
She saw a person coming out of the driver seat and stumbled her way to the side path. Even if the image could not identify the person, it was clear that the driver was a woman. Maevie watched herself sitting at the side path, catching her breathe before she fished out her phone and work through it.
She saw herself walking up and down the path, in unsteady steps before she saw a racing car appear from the corner of the street at took a bad turn, hitting her car which evident dashed towards where she stood. She then witnessed the other car hit a street post before it came to a stop. It was a miracle that the driver even survived.
From the sign of it, there should be clear tire marks. The police should've known how the accident happened even without going though the video if they wanted to investigate the truth. That is if that had done their trainings right.
Now that she got a backup, she could easily prove her innocence to the word and begin a new life. One where she takes the path to become a successful and dependable person.
Nevertheless, she was satisfied with the video.
"This could work!" She exclaimed to herself, totally unaware of the odd look that her assistant was giving.
'Is she really okay? Or do I need to contact a psychiatrist? Or a neurologist?' Nora wondered.
Her boss had been behaving every unusually ever since she woke from the accident. The fact that she had not lost her temper within these eight hours of her consciousness was a fact that there was something wrong with her.
'Gasp….. Maybe this is her second personality? So should be contact a psychologist instead?'
"Nora… Could you please pass me my phone?"
'On the second thought, this change might be for the better.'
The assistant thought as she gave her boss the phone which had just been delivered by the Tyler's staff from the police.
Maevie entered the call log and saw the series of outgoing calls.
"Wow… I really called the whole contact book."
"All but me!" Nora remarked without a hesitation.
"Heh heh!!"
Maevie could only give an awkward smile to that as a reply. She did not have any excuse after all. She cannot say that she did not consider Nora as her person before she got into the accident and was bound with the system.
The assistant stood close to her boss and pried into the phone. She saw a particular contact which was saved as an emoji of a ghost.
"Who's that ghost?"
If it was before, Nora would've not asked the question. But for some reason, her boss seemed more approachable since the accident.
"That's…. Sienne."
"You called Sienne???" Exclaimed the assistant in pure shock.
"Well…" Maevie dragged.
Even if all that happened a long time ago for her, because she was remined of it again, she felt the uncomfortable hopelessness she felt that night once again.
"I was quite lonely that night." Her voice was merely a whisper.
"You could have called me if you were lonely. I could've been your drinking partner."
"I was not in the right mind to think. Okay. I'll definitely call you if I ever need a drinking partner next time. But I don't think I would ever go as near as a meter close to any liquor for the time period."
The two continued with their conversation, oblivious to the fact that two pair of ears were listening to their not so secret conversation.
Tyler who had excused himself to get some fresh air came back to bid goodbye as the visiting hour was coming to an end for the day. But as he was about to open the door, he heard Maevie's assistant's sharp cry.
"You called Sienne???"
Then he stood there and listen to the rest of the conversation. His assistant who was also besides him listened along with him.
Assistant Lou remembered the sad voice he heard when he picked up the phone the day before.
"Hello. Elder brother. I… I'm so lonely now. Could you talk with me for a few minutes?... I…. I promise I won't take much time."
He felt a little guilty. Maybe he should've given the phone to the Vice President instead of hanging up.
Tyler did not enter the room. Instead, he came up to the deserted roof of the building. He fished out his phone and made a call..
"Hello… Big Brother!!" The person on the other end greeted.
"Hmm… Where are you guys?"
"We are in the Southern Bay City."
"…" Tyler paused for a few seconds then asked.
"Did Maevie call you last night?"
"…"
Abel who had not yet gotten the news of Maevie's accident did not know why his Big Brother who was usually unbothered by these things questioning him of the ungrateful demon of their house.
"Yeah! She called Llyod and Sienne too.."
"Did you pick up her call?"
"Umm…" Abel knew from the tone of his brother that he was not happy. But he did not try to hide the truth and replied honestly.
"No…"
"…"
"Get back home soon!"
Tyler was not to the mood to lecture his carefree brother though the phone.
"Yes!!!"
"And…" Tyler added, "Check the news."
He did not elaborate the sentence and hung up. The eldest young master of the Cacia Family pressed his two eye brows to ease the ache that was troubling him. He knew his brothers were resistant towards Maevie since they were young. But he wanted them to be more responsible and not prejudice against her.
But he himself was to be blamed too…
Yesterday's event was a lesson to himself as well. If he had called back Maevie just after coming out of the conference room when Assistant Lou informed him, this accident could have been avoided.
He was also one of those to be blamed.
Abel looked at the black screen of his phone. His Big Brother had just called him and questioned about Maevie and hung up after telling him to watch the news.
"What news?"
He questioned himself he walked to the dinning area. Llyod and Sienne were already there, waiting for him as their food were being served.
"Big Brother just called." He announced.
"Big Brother? Did he say he would join us?" Asked the excited little sister.
"He said to punish you for eating like a little pig."
Able teased as he took the seat besides her and rubbed her head, which was of course was rejected by the girl for messing with her hair. The girl pouted her lips in protest as she let out her cute grumbles of dissatisfaction, earning laughter of adoration form her brothers.
"What did Big Brother say?" Llyod asked knowing that his big brother would not say that.
"He asked if Maevie called us last night."
"He did?" Sienne paused as she asked.
"Uh Huh."
"Did she complain to him or something?" Llyod asked.
"Don't know. Must be."
The two brothers who were busy with their food did not notice the look of panic in Sienne's eyes. They did not see the fist clenched under the table. The two men lost the interest in the conversation as they began to pick dishes for their sister.
Just when Sienne thought the topic of conversation had been dropped. Abel remembered what Tyler told him to do at the end of their conversation.
"Oh! Big Brother told me check out the news."
That did it. Sienne suddenly dropped the knife she was holding to cut her steak. The clanging sound of the metal dropping to the ground drew the attention of the two brothers.
"Why are you clumsy?" Able chided helplessly then he called for the waiter.
"Excuse me. Could you bring another one?"
Abel was carefree by nature and did not dive into what his Big Bother could mean when he told him to check the news ad thought of doing it later after having the dinner. But Llyod was different.
With his understanding of his brother, he thought that Tyler would not evn mention this if it was not important. So, he opened his phone and checked out if there was anything wrong with the companies.
But he found nothing that required his urgent attention. But as he was about of put down his phone, he saw another headline.
'Notorious Actress Maevie Oz caused a drunk drive accident, victim in the ICU'
Alarmed, he stood up catching the attention of Abel.
"What happened?"
"Its Maevie. She got into an accident." Llyod answered.
What Sienne didn't want had happened. She had already seen the news the first thing in the morning. At first she was a bit concerned about the well being of Maevie. So she asked her agent about the situation. When she got the news that her cousin's injury was not severe and that she might be the cause of the accident because of her drunk driving, her concerned was flushed into the drain.
Sienne had been put in difficult situations to cater to Maevie's wish and because of her jealousy. The youngest Cacia was a kind soul. But she was not a saint. All the humiliation and torture she suffered, she had marked it in her heart. And thus, why she did not say anything about the accident to her brothers for the whole day and kept them busy to even open their phone.
She was concerned that the twins would emediately leave for Maevie when they hear the news. But it seemed that she had overestimated the weight of the adopted sister in the twins heart.
"She's okay, it seems."
Llyod asked his assistant whom he had left behind to cover up his work about the situation. He could've asked his Big Brother. But he feared that he would be scolded instead.
From the words of his assistant, Maevie was the one causing the accident with her reckless drunk drive. And the little concern the twins had turned into scorn instead.
"I had fairly warned her not to cause any mess just a few days ago." Grumbled the second young master of the Cacia family.
Abel was notified of the situations and as a person with no brake, he had a lot to say.
"Does she think that getting herself hurt would buy our sympathy or something? The more pretentious she becomes, I more I hate her."
"But… She's hurt now. I think we should go back. After all, she's our sister. It would not be good for us to have fun here while she's in the hospital." Sienne said.
Now that she knew that there was little concern for Maevie in her brother's heart, she calmed herself down and put up with her act of a kind and obedient sister.
"This little girl…" Abel patted his sister's head. "Being too kind will make others take advantage of you."
Llyod, who had been frowning since he had seen the news also smile as he watched his siblings.
"Our Sienne can be however she wants. Her brothers will protect her from every harm." The second young master claimed with his adoring gaze.
With the promise from her brothers, Sienne was sure that the adopted sister could do nothing to her anymore. And that she could not steal what was rightfully hers even if she wanted to.

"Sir. Jason has already retrieved the dashcam."
Assistant Lou informed his boss who had just finished his phone call. Tyler agave him a look telling him to continue.
"The car belongs to the girlfriend of the café owner. Jason said he would have to come to the office to trim the video out first."
"Okay." Tyler replied.
When he went back to the private room where his sister was assigned, he saw another man inside.
The man looked like he was in his late twenties or early thirties. He was dressed in a comfortable causal yet formal looking outfit. The bags under his eyes screamed that the person and not had proper sleep.
"Good evening, Mr. Tyler."
The person greeted as he stretched out his hand to Tyler. His voice was deep and carried a bit of breathlessness from having to run here.
The young VP of he Cacia group shook the stretched hand and greeted back.
"Good evening, Agent Son."
It was Maevie Oz's agent, Wander Son.
