บท 111: - Survivors

As they entered the room at the centre of the temple, Gus saw that there was a different, glowing statue at the centre of the room. Around the foot of the statue, near the stairs that led up to the altar upon which it was found, Gus could see that there were some people in the room.

"About time someone came for us," a familiar voice said. "We've had a message going out for days now."

"Wait," Gus said with a questioning tone. "Bryer?"

"Gus?" Bryer responded, rising to his feet and stepping further into light. "You survived the shuttle going down? How are you alive?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Gus said. "What happened to you on the shuttle? The last thing I remember on the shuttle was it being ripped apart, and when I woke up some people were missing and the others were dead."

  "I tried to use my cybernetics to keep everything together, but it backfired and I could only save a handful of the people on board."
