บท 130: Can't trust you anymore

Practically in agony, Ramsey jerks his head, breaking eye contact with malik.

With a snarl, he shoves Malik back into the ground with a force that sends the older man sprawling once more. He tucks his gun back into his jacket, the cold metal practice burning against his side.

Sucking in a harsh breath, the man finally stands, his face twisted in a mixture of anger and desperation.

"This isn't over, Malik," he growls, his voice low and dangerous. He doesn't linger with his gaze, his mind consumed by the image of Robin fleeing, her face a mask of horror.

Without another word, Ramsey turns and immediately runs after the woman, calling her name. "Robin! Wait, please!"

But Robin is heedless of his pleas, her only focus on getting as far away as possible. She manages to navigate the secret path of the underground halls and runs through the exit.
