บท 42: The real you

Observing the woman who regarded her as though they were meeting for the first time, Anna sensed that something was truly off.

'Was this what people call a doppelganger?'

She sized up the woman in front of her, taking in all her features; she resembled Odelia but also didn't look like Odelia at the same time. What caught her attention was the formidable Don Gardner standing beside the woman. That was what made her think something must have been wrong with her eyes. 

Besides, if she were Odelia, how could she explain the burnt-dead body the police had asked them to identify and retrieve? How could Odelia be alive, and that wasn't even the most important part? She was in the company of someone as high and mighty as Don Gardner. From her point of view, the distance between Odelia and Don Gardner was like heaven and earth.
