บท 66: A fraction of your heart

A contemplative look flashed past Don Gardner's eyes as he stared at the brazen woman in front of him. He had caught her in the act, but she was brazen enough to say he was her husband. It was as if she didn't know their marriage was fake; it was a sham.

She claimed she was in love with him for a long time but knew he was out of her reach, so when she saw a gun pointed at him, she rushed in to take the bullet for him, the love of his life. She had used his words against him and had forcibly asked him to marry her.

As if that wasn't enough, it was only a few days after their marriage, but on the same day she had left home after he had mistakenly kissed her, he received an audio message where she confessed to an unidentified man that everything was a lie and that she didn't love him.
