Swarnalata: The Lost Queen

At the age of 7, Princess Swarnalata is forced to flee her kingdom after a sudden attack. Separated from her parents and brother she is raised in anonymity by her nursemaid. Now 11 years later, Swarnalata has only one goal and that is revenge; revenge for her parents, revenge for her people, and a dream of getting her throne back. However, fate seems to have something else in store for her when her life becomes entangled with King Suryakant and she becomes his Upastree (concubine). Living in a palace far from home, Swarnalata realizes that blood must be shed, poison must be spilled, and the lives of loved ones must be put at stake, before she becomes another pawn sacrificed in this chessboard of treachery and deceit. With all the odds against her, will Swarnalata rise to become Queen, or become a mere pawn ready to be sacrificed?
