This reminded her of the locust experiment she had conducted in the second round of the game. She sighed and went to the fridge for a Coke, hoping to calm down.

Taking a sip, she placed the Coke on the table, accidentally knocking it over with her elbow.

The brown liquid sizzled as it dripped onto the parasite, like it was being deep-fried. The creature's tentacles curled up, its body wrinkled, releasing heat as its pale pink flesh turned brown.

Shocked, Wen Nannan poured half the remaining Coke onto it. The sizzling continued, even producing smoke. Within half a minute, all four parasites pinned to the cutting board were scorched and dry. The tentacles and flesh had become a pool of dead meat.
