After giving Chen Fan acupuncture, Wang Zhi applied plasters on several parts of his body.

The plasters looked nondescript and homemade, emitting an unpleasant odor that was nauseating.

Wang Zhi teased with a smile, "No need. You just focus on recuperating for the next few days. After all, I'll need your cooperation to fulfill my requirements."

An Lan's face turned red, and she said nothing, escorting Wang Zhi towards the exit.

After Wang Zhi left, An Lan returned to the room where Chen Fan, impatient, asked, "What exactly did you agree to for his condition?"

Shrugging her shoulders, An Lan replied, "Nothing much. I just sincerely requested his help, and he agreed."
