He sat in the bathtub, thinking about his life leading up to now. He splashed the water in the tub for a few seconds.
"Why am I called, a 'hero'."
"I've never amounted to anything. I killed him, but I don't feel like a hero anymore. Evelyn is still in her coma, I still haven't really helped her. I've always been a loser, I've never been a hero. And the one time I got to be something, it didn't mean anything in the long run."
There was a brief knock at the door.
"May I come in, Miyuki? Sorry for interrupting your bathing, and self-loathing." It was Oliver.
"Sure." Oliver strolled into the bathroom with Dusk. "First of all, welcome to the Pratt Family Mansion! Second of all, did Mr. Eloise speak to you earlier, about how things will go this week?" Miyuki looked down, still in the water, after some time he finally replied.
"Yeah, I'm staying here until Evelyn gets out of her coma." He looked to Oliver, and spoke to him with an "I don't really care" attitude. "Not exactly, but sure, yeah. She will be fully healed and awaken within a week or so, just make yourself at home." He headed back for the door, "Oh and Miyuki, you are a hero now, to everyone. Don't beat yourself up about Evelyn, I understand how you feel. Just relax this week. It's okay." He then left, leaving the door open.
"You could have closed the door man! Ugh." Miyuki still soaked in the water, thinking what Oliver had just told him.
"Maybe I am a hero."
"Yeah Master, you did good." Dusk had disrupted his thinking process, and tried to make a "thumbs-up" with her paw. "Thank you Dusk, I am indebted to you forever, you know. You saved my life, and basically saved Evelyn's." He patted her back with his wet hand, snickering as he got her all sodden. "Master! I'm wet now! I hate getting wet, you should know this! I'm a cat!"
"Dusk, now that it comes to mind, can you like, transform into different things? Like can you be a cat-girl?" He observed her as she was laying, soggy, on the floor. "Yes Master, I can be anything you want." She smiled then with a poof of white smoke, she changed.
He was befuddled. She actually was a cat-girl. "Dusk, you're actually a cat-girl." He snorted with a chuckle. "I was joking, stay however you want to. You should head out, I'm gonna change clothes when I get out of this tub."
She quickly left, and closed the door behind her. Miyuki still soaked in the water. "I am a hero. No more loathing for me, I have hero duties to do." He felt proud of himself, something he has felt only a couple times before. Maybe he is a hero.

Miyuki paraded around throughout the halls of the mansion with Dusk, a cat now, parading beside him. Sakuta saw Miyuki stroll past his room, so he quickly went to greet him. "Miyuki, good morning. I wanted to talk with you in private. Miyuki was caught by surprise, but obliged. "Yeah man, sure why not."

"So I heard you're a 'hero' now." He scoffed. "I wish I did more with what I had in this world, I was only really prominent in the Great Demi-Human War."
"A war? Between demi-humans or?" Miyuki had only heard of the war twice before, but not what it was about. "Well Miyuki, it was a war about demi-human rights, well really, for anyone that wasn't human or elf, to have the same rights as them. King Valis wanted everyone to be free, but Bouvala and Govore did not like the idea. This was before they were ran by their respective people."
"At the time, Bouvala and Govore were ran by some real evil guys, who were human. They wanted to keep the demi-humans as slaves, and King Valis was against this. Blah blah blah, now everyone is as free as they should be." Miyuki sat there for a moment. "That's really messed up that they weren't even allowed rights in their own hometown." While talking about the war, a new thought came to his mind. He wondered, did Sakuta have any kind of powers or magic?
"Sakuta, how were you prominent though? Did you have some like, overpowered ability?" Miyuki really wanted to hear about how cool he was. "I guess you can say I do. I can teleport. All I have to do is think of someone in my mind's eye, and say their name out loud, or say their name in my mind." Sakuta closed his eyes, and shouted, "Lillith Alexandria Eloise!" Within a second, he evaporated into the air. "What!? Sakuta!? No way that's awesome!"
As quickly as he vanished, he reappeared, but with Lillith by his side, his left arm wrapped around her shoulder. "Lillith? Wow bro, that's badass! No wonder you must have been a big deal in the war." He then gave a round of applause to the two of them.
"Yeah, I helped King Valis alot when it came to spy-like missions I had to do, when I snuck into Govore and Bouvala." He sat down with Lillith by his side. "Yeah, my dad is pretty cool!" She said with a smirk.
Now that he sees the two of them together, he never really heard about Lillith's mother. "I don't mean to offend either one of you, but, what happened to Mrs. Eloise?" Miyuki only ever saw the two of them when ever the Eloise family were mentioned.
Lillith peered down while Sakuta stared off to the right. "She...isn't with us anymore. She passed away eighteen years ago near the end of the war. She was pregnant at the time, her and I had been happily married for a few years. When the war was ending, she was at home when someone broke in and murdered her." Miyuki noticed the tears sliding down his face as he spoke. He was shaking, violently.
"Lillith had barely survived the encounter, so I'm grateful she's alive today. And so when I found out, I was devastated." He clenched his left fist, still shaking. "What makes it worse, is that the man who did this, still is a free man. He probably has done this exact thing to other families."
"A free man? How the hell is that possible?" Miyuki questioned, with agitation in his tone. "Because, he couldn't be captured, because, that man is Mimic, the leader of the Black Order." Miyuki was baffled. "M-Mimic? He...he did that?"
"Every single day, I wish I could have been there to save her. To save Charlotte." He turned to face Miyuki, tears running down his cheeks. "Not only do I know how it feels to be in a world you dont belong in, but I know how it feels to want to save someone you love most. In your case, Princess Evelyn." He couldn't hold back his tears, or the misery in his voice.
"Miyuki. Please don't fail like how I did. Save her while you can, you don't want to swallow yourself in grief for the rest of your days." He turned to face away from Miyuki and Lillith. She hugged him from behind, weeping as well. "Father, you didn't fail Mom, it's not your fault. I wish I had died instead."
"Ōjo-chan, please don't say that, I'm so glad you're alive, I love you so much, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if the both of you were murdered. Never have I wished it was you instead of her. Please don't think that."
Miyuki felt like he was interrupting a moment between the relatives. He, as well as everyone in the room, was crying. He never knew Sakuta felt this way about things, specifically about wanting to save a loved one. Sakuta really has gone through agony.
Still sobbing, he reassured Miyuki. "I understand if you feel uncomfortable, or like you shouldn't be here, it's okay. Please just give us a moment." The two held eachother, crying within their arms. Miyuki, without any words, headed for the door and quietly left the room.
Miyuki stood there, leaning on the outside of the door. He slid his back down the door untill he hit the ground. He began to break down.
"I- I have to save Evelyn."
