Xia Fei killed that green sapient lifeform that had fired at him without a word. His cold eyes scanned the more than one hundred remaining comrades without the slightest fear.

"Why did you kill him?" Phantom questioned. "Their leader offered you his ear and conceded, right? Is there any need to be so ruthless?"

"Look at their eyes."

"What's wrong with their eyes?" Phantom curiously looked around. "There's nothing special about their eyes."

Xia Fei smiled. "Their gazes are cunning and vicious, tinged with a stubborn streak that doesn't yield. A race like this won't easily lower their heads. If I let him go, he might stab me in the back one day. At times, showing pity to others is being cruel to yourself."
