As wave after wave of vines emerged and started to become a bother, the annoyed bear shot a wave of projectiles. The vines climbing and whipping its legs were easily ripped, yet like a wild plant growing in a garden, the vines kept emerging.
Two shadow lines wrapped around Ester's shoulder. With a strong pull upwards, she was pulled high up in the sky.
*Tap* Ester's body stopped, and two hands tapped reassuringly on her back.
Ester moved her gaze and saw Awa on one side and Night on the other. They were slowly falling as if their body was as light as a feather.
"Ester. I can not stay like this for much longer." Said Awa.
Awa and Night had used a lot of their shared mana pool to recover their current shadow bodies. They were running out of mana soon.
Ester had noticed Awa and Night's shadow bodies were less condensed than before. The dark body was slightly see-through, as if they were composed of smoke about to disperse soon.
