"Tch," Larkin clicked his tongue.
"Y-you're..." Vera whispered.
"Exactly right!" The spirit cried.
"After being killed by that brat, 246- whatever, I became a vengeful spirit." He spoke.
"If I don't get my way with that little pest, I will take this vessel down with me, so be it!"
Cole's eyes widened.
"D-does he mean...?" He whispered.
"Doesn't matter!" Mim cried.
"We have to get him out of a physical body before he can cause any sort of harm!" Mim shouted as he readied himself.
"Mim, wait!" Larkin called out, grabbing his shoulder.
"We also cannot cause harm to Norio's body." He stated firmly.
"Tch." Mim clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Vera!" Larkin shouted.
Vera quickly turned to him.
"Ready yourself; you have to banish him before he-" Larkin was suddenly cut off by a kick to the abdomen.
"Boss!" Mim cried.
However, Larkin was able to stand his ground, panting as he held his stomach.
"Not bad..." He smirked.
As the spirit went to punch Larkin, Larkin quickly dodged, causing the spirit to punch a tree.
The spirit laughed as he raised his leg to kick.
"Are you almost ready!?" Mim shouted, turning to Vera.
"I'm trying my best; I've never banished a spirit before!" She cried.
Larkin continued dodging blows, without retaliating, to not cause any harm to Norio's body.
Larkin quickly turned his head.
"It'll use up a lot of your energy, but we need you to-"
The spirit threw a quick punch, hitting Larkin in the face.
"Augh!" Larkin cried as he fell to the ground.
"Hurry!" Cole cried.
The spirit stood over Larkin and began punching him repeatedly.
"Hey!" Vera shouted.
The spirit quickly turned around.
Vera carefully kept her gaze on the spirit.
Her eyes then widened.
"Go to Hell!" She cried out.
The spirit of the man quickly rose out of Norio's body.
"W-What are you doing...!?" The spirit shrieked.
Vera slowly raised her hands and then clapped them together.
The spirit began disintegrating.
"No!" He cried.
"N-no!" He cried out once more as he dissolved.
"Y-you did it..." Mim whispered.
Vera smiled.
Her eyes then began flickering.
As she closed her eyes, she fell to the ground.
"H-hey, Vera!" She heard Larkin cry as the world faded out.
