บท 47: Mizuno's Dream

#At the Cave

Cave of the old man Saleh. Mizuno was very tired. After the battle between the apes and the black beast, he could not sleep or eat well. Whenever he closed his eyes, he could see the naked viciousness that no words could ever describe.

The image from the battle was still fresh in his mind. What did he feel like? He tried to remember. He wanted to keep watching. It was hypnotic, addicting, and chilling to the bone. His body was not under his control. He felt a cold fear that froze his body, mind, and all his senses. Did he smell anything? No. His nose did not pick up anything. There was no sanity in that battle. Kill or be killed—an innate instinct to survive gave birth to that insanity...that rage, that frenzy.
