"Where are we going?" asked Young Lord Rao while following behind Shaman Lao Hai.
Behind him are the other young misses and young lord Fan with their guards.
The group is currently running through the forest while following Shaman Lao Hai after escaping the broken array formation.
They have seen how brutal that young boy was and they dare not fight against such a monster.
Everyone has agreed and devised this plan to kill those people and work with Shaman Lao Hai. This is due to the secret discovery of the Ether stones near the village.
Although it is a bit brutal to kill all the soldiers and warriors in the village to hide the discovery of the black stone and use the black mist as a reason, they still did it was they did not care about the lives of those servants and ordinary people.
As the group runs deeper into the lush and green forest, they soon arrive in front of a dark mist-covered area.
"Wait! That is the black mist! We should go back!" shouted one of the young miss in the group.
"This is a big mistake… We should retreat now. I don't want to be sacrificed and get eaten by the beasts inside the black mist!" cried another one.
The crowd became a bit rowdy as they nervously begin to take a few steps back.
Some loyal guards even quickly stood in front of their masters to protect them.
With the death of the young lords in the hands of that boy, these guards felt a bit useless for not being able to protect their wards.
A few of them have even died in the hands of that boy which gave them a blow in their pride and ego as warriors. But no one dared attack at that time as they knew of the strength of that boy even after under the mysterious array.
As everyone looks at the black mist in front of them with fear in their eyes, Shaman Lao Hai suddenly walks forward and lifted his hand up with his staff.
Although the orb in the staff is already cracked because of the blade that the young man threw, it still functions as it should.
A slight glow appears on the cracked orb and the black mist mysteriously parted revealing a dark cave.
"Follow me… We should be safe in here for the meantime." Shaman Lao Hai said as he took a step forward.
As soon as he turns around, a sinister smile actually appears on his face.

I was following the traces of trails on the ground cautiously. I have been running for an hour now but I still did not find the group.
The deep forest is a bit gloomy and shadowy. Every movement of the leaves is like the shadow of a dangerous beast prowling in the darkness.
Sometimes, I could see some glowing eyes under the thick bushes, but after investigating it with my Spirit Eyes I could find some curious little creatures looking in my direction.
"They have been here 10 minutes ago…" I muttered after checking the traces on the ground.
I've recovered this tracking skill in one of my partially restored broken memory.
Besides combat skills and survival skills, I also discovered some useful skills inside my mind which made me feel a glimpse of a reason why I, as a young boy, was found in the middle of the battlefield.
As I stand up and was about to follow another lead, I suddenly heard a sound which made me quickly jump to my right.
It was really quick and without my sharp hearing sense, I would not have been able to dodge it even with the use of my Spirit Eyes.
Then I heard a loud crashing sound as that projectile hits the tree behind me.
My expression turned a bit pale as I noticed the power of that projectile.
"Kekeke… This one is very fast and has a sharp sense." a playful voice entered my ears.
I look around and found no one around me even after using my Spirit Eyes.
"If you want to kill… kill… Don't play around. We still have to find that cave." A deep voice also appears which startled me for a bit.
Swoosh!!!
Another arrow was shot but I quickly dodged it by a hair's breadth.
"What?!" the playful voice turned into shock.
"Hahaha… This little boy is not as he seems to be…" the deep voice chuckled.
"I can't believe that a mere mortal could dodge my strikes." suddenly a tall and handsome young man wearing a robe just like that of those cyan-robed young women but his robe is fiery red.
When he appears, I could already detect that powerful aura around his body.
"Hello!" he said with a grin as he suddenly extended his hand to grab me.
But I was able to see his movement and quickly use my right hand to parry his hand away.
As he missed grabbing my neck, the young man suddenly frowned deeply.
"Senior brother… this little fellow is weird. Should we take him back to the sect?" he asked.
"No… I could not detect anything special about him. Just dispose of him so that we could continue traveling…"
I feel cold chills running down my spine. I knew that these two are treating me like I was nothing. And also, I knew that these two are those that many called Transcendent Beings.
The handsome fellow frowned and playfully grabbed a dagger from his back.
"Little guy… this is not your lucky day." He said while showing an amicable expression.
Then suddenly he stabs right at my chest.
His target should be my heart. I knew that if he stabs my heart then I would surely die in one strike.
But this time, I have already activated my reflex. So his movement, which is supposed to be fast, became normal.
I quickly moved my hand to block the dagger.
After deflecting the dagger with my bare hand, I did not hesitate to quickly kick the guy in his gut while using that momentum to jump back and I quickly run away.
"Damn it!" the young man grumbled in annoyance.
I did not have time to think of anything else as I could feel danger coming from those two.
But I suddenly stopped as I saw a figure standing in front of me.
How he appears, I did not know.
"Quiet a thorny little kid. I kind of like you." A tall and burly man said while looking in my direction with a slight smirk on his face.
"If you follow us… then I will let you live." He suddenly said.
"Senior brother… this…" the handsome young man appears behind me and wanted to protest.
"Shut up junior brother. This young fellow is a bit nimble and fast. We could use him as our guide… you know." The burly young man said then suddenly winks.
I did not know what that means, but the young man suddenly changed his attitude towards me.
"Alright… I think you are right senior brother."
"Kid, do you want to go to a dungeon with us? If we find anything, then I would give you a fair amount of share… what do you think?" the young man suddenly added.
I did not know what these two are thinking, but I decided to go with their plan.
If I try and force myself to escape their grasp, I could sense that it would be futile.
I am not afraid of the young man. I am more afraid of his companion, the burly one.
For some unknown reason, my senses are telling me that the fellow is quite dangerous.
I did not reply immediately and since I have already decided to play with their ploy, I agreed.
"Alright…" I just said.
With a grin, the burly youth nods his head and quickly walked towards me.
He patted my shoulder and I could immediately feel his strength.
As I have agreed to follow them, the hostility coming from the handsome young man seemed to have vanished.
The three of us walked for a while in silence as I could tell that the two are very cautious of their surroundings.
"Hey… Look!" the burly young man said suddenly while pointing at the place filled with vines.
"Is that… Is that the entrance to that place?" the handsome young man said with excitement.
"I think it is… Let's head inside and see what we could find." The burly young man said while he walked in front of us.
I followed and the handsome youth walked behind me.
"You have strange eyes… If you could get it checked, then maybe you could recover your vision…" the handsome young man suddenly said from behind me.
I did not know what he means, but it seems that he is actually treating me like a blind person.
"Though you cannot see… Your other senses have been enhanced to a degree that it does not affect you, right?" the burly young man suddenly said.
"Yeah… You are like one of our junior little sisters… She also could not see, but she still lives normally and could even move faster even without her eyes." the handsome youth added.
"If we can get inside this place… maybe there is a way for you to recover your sight… in there." The handsome youth added.
I could only listen to the two as the burly youth chopped the vines covering a weird-looking door that seem to be made of rusty metal.
"I will open this… the two of you should get ready." The burly young man said as he focused his aura on both of his arms.
I could see some kind of Ether energy flowing. This made me feel a bit curious on what truly is the background of these two strangers before me.
