Chapter 001- Multiverse Traveller(Edited)
[A/N: I am editing the first dozens of chapters that I think should be edited in order to correct some small errors whether it be gramatacial or others. If I don't get too lazy in the process, it should not take more than two weeks.]
Rifat opened his eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar location surrounded by endless darkness. He realized there was no oxygen present, yet he was still able to breathe.
Confused and disoriented, he tried to remember his last moments before waking up in this strange place. The only memory he could recall was his death.
This realization left him even more bewildered.
How was he still alive?
And how did he end up in this unknown place with missing memories?
Despite the flurry of questions racing through his mind, he had no answers.
At present, Rifat is unable to recall much of his past, including his place of origin.
However, he has an unusual ability to remember every detail of the anime, novels, and movies he watched in his previous life.
After some time, he manages to compose himself, but suddenly he hears a harsh mechanical sound inside his head.
[Ding! Congratulation on being chosen as the lucky world traveler. I am a traveler system assigned to the host to let you travel to your desired world.]
Rifat was initially bewildered by the sudden appearance of a mechanical voice inside his head along with a box of text that popped up before his eyes.
However, he eventually realized that he had been chosen as a world traveler by a traveler system, which allowed him to visit his desired world. It took him a while to process these unusual events and come to terms with the reality of his situation.
Intrigued by the system, Rifat asked, "So, are you saying that I can travel to any world that I desire, even if it's fictional?"
[In this universe, anything a person desires can be materialized within a millisecond. If your desire is strong enough, any world that you want can be materialized, and you can visit it. You can even materialize your previous world as long as you have enough information about it stored in your mind.]
Rifat was curious about the amount of information required to materialize a world. He asked the system, "What level of information do I need to have?"
[You need to have a general knowledge of the history of the world you want to materialize. For instance, if you have a summarized understanding of the history of your past world and your desire is strong enough, you can materialize it. The universe will assist you in filling in any gaps in your knowledge.]
Rifat was surprised at how easy it seemed to be able to create and travel to any world he desired.
He asked the system, "So, I can visit any fictional world as long as I have a general idea of its plot and a strong desire to materialize it? That sounds simple enough."
[Yes, that is correct. If you have a general understanding of a world's plot and a strong enough desire to visit it, the world will materialize in this universe and I will help you travel there.]
Rifat was excited at the prospect of being able to visit the worlds he had only read about in books or watched in anime.
He thought to himself, 'This is amazing! I have knowledge of hundreds of worlds in my mind, so I can travel to so many places!'
But soon Rifat's smile faltered as a thought crossed his mind.
He asked the system in his mind, "If anyone can create a world just by having a general outline and enough desire, wouldn't it be dangerous if someone else from the created universes creates a world that could destroy the multiverse accidentally?"
[The host doesn't have to worry about that. Only a select few, including you, have permission to create worlds in this universe. Furthermore, these individuals have agreed not to interfere with the universe, so there is no need for concern.]
Rifat asked the system with some worry in his heart, "Can I know who they are?"
[No, you do not have permission to know their identities. But to ease your worry, I can tell you that you used to know them before losing your memory. Once you retrieve your memories, you will understand everything, including the reason for your presence here in this universe.]
Rifat felt a bit relieved upon hearing this information, knowing that he may eventually have access to more knowledge.
Rifat decided to put aside his worries and focus on enjoying his time traveling to different anime worlds.
However, he struggled to choose his first destination from the many worlds he had in mind. So, he opted for a random selection.
He asked the system to materialize all the worlds he had in his mind and randomly choose one for him to visit.
Rifat also requested the system to set up a main mission for him in that world to provide him with a goal.
[Ding! Extracting host's memories....]
[Extraction Complete!]
[Initiating the creation of the world...…]
[Error! The desire is not enough!!!!!!]

[Ding! The desire has reached the minimum requirement.]
[Starting the world creation....]
[World creation completed....0%.....10%.....50%.....100%]
[Congratulation! Starting the random world selection.]
[Ding! The world has been selected. The host will be transported to the SAO world in a few moments.]
[Please chose-
1. Take over a body of an original character from SAO.
2. Create your backstory with a new identity in that world]
'Choose option 2.' Rifat said to the system.
[Ding! Option 2 is chosen. Please choose again-
1. Customize your background
2. Randomly create your background]
Rifat informed the system of his choice, he selected option one, which involved having a background of belonging to a powerful political family with a considerable amount of wealth.
He also added that his parents had passed away, leaving him with access to their wealth and connections, which he could use if needed.
As for his appearance and body structure, Rifat was content with them and did not wish for any changes to be made.
Unlike some people, Rifat was confident with his looks and did not have any insecurities about his body shape or the size of his little brother.
Therefore, he decided to keep his looks the way they were previously.
[Ding! Option 1 is chosen. Please choose the timeline you want to go-]
'Timeline? Let's see, just set the timeline few years before the game officially launches. Also, make me few years older than Kirito.' Rifat said to the system.
[Ding! Suggestions have been taken.]
[Please choose-
1. I want only main missions.
2. I want as many missions as possible.
3. I don't want any missions at all.]
'Let's choose number 1. Having a goal would make my life more interesting but I don't want to become a system slave.'
[All preparations are completed. The transportation will start in 3..2..1...]
Rifat's mind went blank as he heard the sound of the system in his mind. Soon after, he passed out.
