บท 5: Episode 5: Daring Endeavor
DARING ENDEAVOR
The night has ended and the sun has risen again. It is time to head for Coruscant. Maul's sources have informed him that Sidious has just entered his palace. Ahsoka, Maul, Yoda, and Obi-Wan enter their fighters then immediately set sail for Coruscant. Rex waits to move closer to Coruscant in his gunship but is not allowed to enter the Coruscant yet. He must wait to maintain the element of surprise.
Yoda descends into the Coruscant atmosphere in his tiny stealth interceptor, towards the southeast entrance of Palpatine's complex. It is a bright day. The complex is massive with bague paint and red stripes. The fifth-teen meter wide and fifty-meter long platform entrance has three clone shock trooper guards facing the entrance armed with long blaster rifles. One massive turbolaser is at the top of the building which is roughly 2 stories over the platform entrance.
Yoda decloaks his spacecraft as he hovers over them and fires a volley of green turbolaster fire into the defense turret. Suddenly there is a buzz and the shots are absorbed by the gun. Yoda says to himself, "Shielded it is!" Yoda takes evasive maneuvers as the turbolaser fires a volley of blue shots at him. Yoda does a backward loop as he avoids several shots. Then Yoda retreats.
Somewhere in the facility, there is a surveillance and data room that is ordinated by several flashing lights of a range of colors. Multiple clone officers in grey uniforms are reacting to the detection of Yoda's attack. A clone officer immediately relays the message to Commander Fox. As this is happening, Palpatine is sitting in a luxury chamber getting a massage by a beautiful woman.
There are two Red Guards standing across Palpatine's right and left side. Fox confronts Palpatine, "Sir we have noticed a stealth fighter attack the North East entrance. It retreated after failing to destroy the turbolaser."
Palpatine sighs, "It must be a team of Jedi. Prepare the defense mechanisms! I sense Yoda is near."
Yoda sends a report to the rest of the team, "Shielded the turbolasers are. Strong enough to destroy them, my turbolasers are not."
Maul responds, "I was not aware of this, but we can find a way to board the facility and deactivate the shields of the ship. Rex will still come to rescue us and he will have to deal with the turbolasers."
Ahsoka comments, "We all don't have to attack at once. Maul, you can go in first since Yoda was briefly detected. Then try to find the controls and disable them. Yoda can go next, but he can use the North West entrance instead of Kenobi. Then I can take the southeast entrance instead, because Sidious will go where ever Yoda and Maul are first and I'm sure Obi-Wan can handle the heat from the clones and red guards."
Obi-Wan affirms, "I like that idea."
Maul: "No time to waste. I'm on my way."
Maul descends his fighter towards the North East entrance. It is 10 meters wide and 30 meters long, like all the other entrances (besides the South East). Maul immediately lands it while still cloaked and exits his fighter. There are two clones with long blaster rifles standing guard outside of the door. Though Maul has an invisible fighter, he himself does not have a stealth suit.
The two guards are having a conversation as Maul exists the fighter. Guard one: "What do you think about the Jedi traitors finally meeting their demise?"
Guard two: "It's a terrible sight. I honestly wish people would just be loyal to the Republic and accept our great Empire. But there are always some trouble makers. Serves them right, but some are still alive. We lost a lot of 501st clones during that temple battle. We even lost Anakin!"
Guard one: "If only the other Jedi were like him. Its a real shame. Can you believe Rex betrayed us?"
Guard two: "This war is just nuts. I've heard so many great stories about the 501st and their heroic actions. Like the 327th, 91st, and the Galactic Marines. They are up there with the best. I put them over the 41st and 212th."
Guard one: "Yeah, but good old Cody would never betray the Republic. I heard he killed General Kenobi without hesitation."
Guard two: "I never liked Obi-Wan, he always seemed fake to me. Like an arrogant discount Dooku."
Guard one: "Wait a minute, look! It's Maul, from out of nowhere."
Maul stands about 10 feet in front of the clones. Maul: "You idiots really should pay more attention. I understand why you did not immediately notice me, but you clones really talk too much."
Guard two scrambles as he aims his rifle at Maul, "Blast him!" Both clones open fire. In an instant, Maul activates one side of his red double lightsaber and reflects the shots back into the clones. Maul force pries the door open and enters a large hallway. It is elegant with many fancy pictures and art. The floor is light grey marble, the walls are caramel color, there is brown trimming on the walls, the doors are sand color, and the ceiling is burgundy.
Maul rushes down the hallway and notices two clones in the center of it with blaster carbines. Clone one: "What, Darth Maul?" Maul force bumps the clones into each other, knocking them out. As this is happening, Fox suddenly gets a report on his communicator.
Fox and Palpatine have relocated in the grand chamber. The room has a throne and a large window at the back of it. The room is illuminated by sunlight and the floor, walls, and ceiling are all made light grey marble. Fox raises the value of his communicator so Palpatine can hear it. Fox immediately hears a clone trooper yell, "We have lost contact with several patrol teams. We believe someone can recently, hey! Suppress fire!"
Fox can hear several blaster shots. Fox: "Trooper! Report. What is happening? Who is it?" The communication suddenly drops.
Palpatine: "I sense, Maul is here. Hmm, set a trap for him. I will not immediately seek him. This seems different than the other attack. Someone else must be with him."
Fox: "Yes sir."
While this is happening, Yoda suddenly lands at the North West entrance. Unlike the guards that Maul encountered, these two are on high alert. One clone immediately notices his figure. Guard one: "What is that? A little man, is it?" Guard two activates his communicator, "Yoda is at the North West entrance!"
The clones waste no time and shoot a blue barrage of blaster fire at the little Jedi. Yoda force deflects the shots back into the clones. He moves like a blur immediately sprinting towards the entrance. When the door opens, a squad of five shock troopers with blaster carbines await him. Yoda holds both of his hands back and rolls forward then thrust his arms at them. Firing a powerful force push at the squad that sends them all flying into the wall behind them, knocking down several decorations.
Yoda then charges forward into the next hallway and notices three clones at the center of it. The clones open fire and Yoda quickly activates his green lightsaber and deflects blaster shots from them. One shot is knocked back into the center clone's neck. Then a squad of five clones moves in behind Yoda from another entrance.
Just as the clones prepare to fire, Yoda back flips behind the squad and force launches them into the other two clones. The clones violently crash into the floor. Most are unconscious but, three of them get back up. One snatches his blaster carbine and fires at Yoda. Yoda easily swats the shot back into the clone. Another picks up a long blaster rifle, but Yoda flips in front of him and diagonally cuts the clone down.
Another clone grabs his carbine, but Yoda sprints beside him then leaps in the air and decapitates the shock trooper. His head rolls across the floor. While this is happening, Maul is advancing in another hallway. Charging with both sides of his saber staff activated as a team of five clone shock troopers intensely shooting at him. Steam flowing from their blasters and the entire hallway gets five degrees hotter as they suppress fire.
Maul spins his lightsaber like an electric fan and deflected shots fly into two of the clones. Maul then leaps in front of the center clone and diagonally slices him in two. Maul then force pulls the clone on the right towards him and horizontally slices him in half. The clone behind Maul fires and Maul rotates his body and saber as he smacks the blast back into the clone's stomach.
The clone collapses on his knees and steadily shakes in pain as he reacts to the heat flowing through his stomach. The clone starts making a strange noise, "Huhhhaaaaaka." Maul force pulls the crippled clone's neck into his right hand and starts choking him. The clone starts violently coughing, then Maul tightens his grip. Quickly ending the clone's misery with a loud crack.
Maul tosses the corpse into the left wall. Then he looks ahead and says, "Ahh, I can sense the turret shields are directly ahead." Maul sprints forward and notices another three shock troopers exit the door. Maul force pulls the clone on the right and tosses him into the clone on the left. The last clone gasps in fear and Maul grabs him with the force.
Then Maul tosses the clone into the left and right walls several times. Loud thumps can be hear as the clone's bones shatter then Maul tosses the clone twelve feet upwards and the clone falls impetuously into the floor. Maul force pulls the door open and notices several clone officers.
Maul smiles and the officer at the closest to Maul shakes as he sees his enemy. Officer: "Switch power to the backup shield controls!" Maul frowns at this revelation. Maul dives forward and vertically slices the clone in half. Then Maul force pulls another officer into his lightsaber. A third officer sneaks behind Maul and aims his pistol at the back of Maul's head.
Before he can press the trigger, Maul pulls his right hand back and yanks the officer's throat. Then Maul crushes his throat and the clone crumbles. The last officer hides under a table. Maul jumps across the clone and swings low, dispatching the clone. Then Maul says to himself, "I hope Yoda has sensed this trap. My communications are disabled, they must also have a jammer, all I can do is trust in the force." Maul then slices the turbolaser shield controls in the room with his saber.
WEATHERING THE STORM
Yoda lets his force guide him, as he moves down another hall. Five clones take aim and fire at Yoda while another three clones enter the hall behind them. Yoda deflects two shots back into two of the front clones. Yoda then springs past the clones swinging his little saber right to left. Soon their bodies fall like dominos except one final clone who stands six feet ahead of Yoda.
Yoda chucks his lightsaber into the clone's chest. The clone falls forward into the ground. Yoda turns the clone over and pulls the saber out of his chest. Yoda then enters a massive chamber that is completely empty. The walls, floor, and ceiling in the chamber are all white. As Yoda walks to the middle of the chamber, eight automatic blaster turrets immediately deploy from the ceiling. This may have been trouble for Obi-Wan or Ahsoka, but not him.
Yoda also notices two hidden doors open on his right and left flanks. Five shock troopers enter from both sides with blaster carbines. The clones and turrets immediately fire in unison with dozens of blue rods of plasma flying towards the little green Jedi. So much plasma that the temperature of the room raises by twenty degrees and enough to blind most people without helmets.
Yoda spins in circles for five seconds as he force reflects every shot. He looks like a blur of green flashing light. Yoda suddenly stops and the room is full of black stains and clone corpses. The turrets are all destroyed and pieces of them fall from the ceiling. Yoda chuckles then moves forward towards the door. As soon as the door opens, he is smacked five feet back by a bolt of lightning.
Yoda's body rolls backwards as smoke emits from his clothes. Sidious stands proudly in his dark black robes with two red guards beside him. One is armed with a virbosword and another has a double virbosword. Yoda gets on his knees as he attempts to muster his strength. Sidious: "Ha ha heh, the galaxy will go on about this day for ages. The day Yoda met his demise. The order's greatest asset finally destroyed, a final nail in its coffin."
Yoda retorts, "Failed your apprentice did and fail you shall too."
Sidious snaps, "Don't mistake my apprentice's failure with my own. You are now facing the heart of the darkness!" The dark lord ignites his crimson red lightsaber and flies towards Yoda. He moves so fast, that he breaks the sound barrier. Still, Yoda moves faster. Regaining his senses, Yoda rolls to his feet and force pulls Sidious left. This sends him tumbling across the floor.
The two royal guards, amplified by Sidious's dark aura, immediately charge forward with greater speed and strength than before. Yoda force throws the guard on the right into his comrade. This knocks the guard with the virbosword out, but the guard with the double virbosword rushes to his feet. By the time he stands upright, Yoda leaps 2 feet in front of him.
The guard immediately attempts a diagonal right swing, but Yoda jumps up and vertically cuts him down. Sidious leaps back on his feet and reactivates his lightsaber. Sidious then hurls several clone corpses at Yoda. Yoda force catches them then tosses their bodies aside. Sidious leaps in front of Yoda and declares, "Let us settle this in lightsaber combat."
Yoda: "Agreed."
While this is happening, Maul enters a long dark room with dark blue walls, a dark grey ceiling, and a dark grey floor. He notices two clone assassins move towards him with red stripes. Then he turns and notices another two clone assassins move behind him. Maul: "Ahh, what a magnificent design. Perhaps my favorite, if I had my own personal unit I would make your class a major part of it."
Clone assassin: "You look scary, let's see if you fight as good as you look."
With a powerful force push, Maul force launches the clone on the forward right flank 8 feet forward. Maul turns and force pulls the clone on his rear back flank towards him then thrusts his saber through his stomach before swiftly ripping it out. The assassin on left of him leaps forward with a diagonal spinning attack. Maul rolls right then dives forward and horizontally slices the clone in half.
Clone: "Arrrah!" Another assassin moves directly behind Maul and lunges at Maul's back. Maul pivots right with a horizontal counter. The clone flips behind Maul and swings his right wrist blade at Maul's right shoulder. Maul leaps backward but is a bit too slow. The blade scrapes his should and red blood pours flies out of it.
The clone assassin says, "Ahhha, that was extremely satisfying." Maul flips forward and vertically swings at the assassin. The clone dives left and lunges at Maul's left shoulder. Maul rotates his body and swings horizontally, slicing the clone in half. The last assassin who Maul previously force pushed charges towards him. The assassin vertically lunges at Maul's face.
Maul spins right and the assassin horizontally swings a second time at Maul's neck. Maul ducks and gets back upright while backpedaling. Maul counters and horizontally swing's at the assassin's stomach. The clone flips behind Maul and Maul shifts his staff and lunges backward. Thrusting his saber into his foe's stomach. Maul swiftly rips it out and the clone's body falls.
As this is happening, Yoda's duel with Sidious continues. Sidious rapidly swings his saber left to right horizontally. Yoda rolls left rather than trying to block all of those attacks. Yoda hops in the air and horizontally swings at Palpatine's neck. Palpatine tilts his saber left as he blocks the attack. Sidious counters and swings low.
Yoda flips left and leaps towards Palpatine with a fast vertical spinning strike. Palpatine tilts his blade left, blocking the strike then dashes forward with an upper-right swing. Yoda rolls right, avoiding the attack. Then Yoda leaps left with a spinning horizontal attack which slashes Sidious on his right shoulder. Sidious bends down as he holds his right side. Then Yoda leaps behind Sidious and thrusts his saber through the Dark Lord's back.
Sidious: "Aahaah!" Sidious's body collapses and Yoda rips his saber out of Sidious's chest. A dark veil is lifted from the galaxy and a sudden brightness shines outside. Then a blaster shot flies behind Yoda and he swiftly rotates his body and reflects the shot into a clone shadow trooper's chest. Shadow troopers are the elite stealth troopers of the Republic. They have black armor with grey stripes, red visors, and they have the ability to turn invisible.
They can only be seen after they choose to decloak or if there armor is damaged. Another shot flies from his right flank and Yoda turns right and reflects it into another shadow trooper's stomach. Another blaster shot flies through Yoda's back. Yoda: "Oof!" Yoda collapses as a shadow trooper moves in from behind him. The shadow trooper moves in and decloaks just as Yoda closes his eyes. Another two shadow troopers reveal themselves. The shadow trooper who just shot down Yoda stands over him in rage.
Shadow trooper: "You stupid Jedi scum!! You killed our emperor!" The shadow trooper fires his blaster into Yoda's corpse three more times.
The shadow trooper captain touches his distressed friend's right shoulder, "It's alright Recoil, we have a mission to complete. Let us fight for the fate of this Empire. We still have some more enemies to kill."
Shadow trooper: "Yes sir!"
Shadow trooper captain: "Men, today we lost our new Emperor. The fate of the galaxy is at stake. If we don't kill these Jedi and their monster, the galaxy could plunge into darkness. So let us fight valiantly and put everything we can in what may be our last battle!" The three shadow troopers cheer then reactivate their active camouflage.
Maul advances into another hallway. Two clones are across him and he swiftly deflects several of their blaster shots, then he feels a tremor in the force, causing him to stumble to his knees. One clone takes aim and fires at him again. Maul springs back to his and flips forward, avoiding a stream of blaster shots.
Maul chucks his double saber out of his hands and it decapitates both of the clone's. The staff flies back into his hands. Maul breathes heavily, "This is a historic day. I sense both Sidious and Yoda are dead. I have finally had my revenge."
Maul runs into the jammer room. The walls, floor, and ceiling are all white in this room. He notices a large column with many lights shining from it. He can tell that is the jammer. Maul notices two officers operating the room. One on the left and the other on the right. Maul turns off his lightsaber staff. The Zabrak then leaps forward and grabs the first officer's right and left arms, then he raises his hands and latches onto his neck.
Maul rapidly jerks the clone's neck to the right and it snaps. The other officer runs behind Maul and takes aim with his pistol. Maul turns facing the officer who immediately fire's his gun at Maul's right shoulder. Maul uses the force to deflect the shot into the officer's face, his body goes limp like a sack of potatoes.
Maul reactivates his saber and thrusts it into the jammer. Then Maul runs around in a circle with his saber still in the jammer. Maul swiftly pulls his blade out of the jammer and rolls three feet away from it. The jammer suddenly explodes and Maul activates his communicator. Maul: "Ahsoka and Kenobi, I have destroyed their signal jammer and the first shield controls to the turrets. Unfortunately, there is a second one somewhere in here. I heard a clone say it."
Kenobi: "Yoda, what's your status. Yoda come in!"
Ahsoka: "Is he?" Maul could sense Yoda and Sidious's deaths but has used the dark side to help cloud the Jedi's vision. He doesn't want them to find out yet. Maul's dark pull is strong, but not as strong as Sidious's. Once they enter the facility, they will know. For now, that is fine with Maul. He just wants them to enter the facility.
Maul lies, "Nothing is clear. For now, we must move quickly and make sure Sidious is dealt with."
Kenobi: "Right, I am going to land then. Ahsoka keep a look out. You are a good enough pilot to take the turrets out. With Yoda missing in action, this may require a helping hand. Maul and I will make sure that the next shield generator is taken out."
Ahsoka: "Very well. Be careful Obi-Wan."
Kenobi: "Ahsoka, Sith Lords are my specialty, you should know this by now." Obi-Wan lands his stealth fighter at the southeast entrance. Then immediately exits and notices a team of eight clone shock troopers waiting, lead by a captain.
Clone captain: "Obi-Wan, I thought Cody killed you?! Wow, you really are an idiot to come this way. This must be another one of your famous bold ploys. Thinking we wouldn't be prepared. But I'm not even going to waste time with you. Haze, fire the turbolaser at Kenobi!"
Kenobi: "Oh dear."
The turbolaser points it self at Kenobi and immediately fires a massive volley of explosive turbolaser shots at Kenobi. Kenobi uses the force to amplify his speed and sprints forward then dives past the volley of Turbolaser shots. The blasts create a massive explosion behind him that destroys his cloaked fighter and part of the landing platform behind him.
Kenobi continues to sprint forward while the turbolaser fires behind him. Clone captain: "Troops, fire!" Kenobi rolls forward and as a stream of blue plasma bolts flies over his head. Kenobi then uses the force to pull the turbolaser turret up, so that it cannot blast him. Then Kenobi lets go of it and aims his hands at the clones ahead of him who immediately open fire. Kenobi force repulses their shots back at them, taking down the five clones in front.
Kenobi springs back on his feet and turns on his blue lightsaber. Kenobi sprints forward as the turbolaser readjusts itself. The Clone Captain aims his blaster carbine at Kenobi and yells, "Fire! Take him down!" The three remaining clones open fire as they slowly walk backwards. Kenobi blocks the shots and swats a blue blaster bolt into the right clone's helmet.
Kenobi then leaps behind the captain and force throws him into the other clone on the left side, knocking both of them off the platform. The turbolaser aims at Kenobi again and opens fire. The Jedi sprints forward a second time as a stream of explosive turbolaser shots trail him. Kenobi sprints in front of the door, where the turbolaser can no longer shoot him. Kenobi prepares to use the force to open the door, but it automatically opens.
Five shock troopers stand in front of the opening. Kenobi: "Hello, there."
Clone trooper: "Fire!" Kenobi swiftly force pushes them all down. Then jumps in the hallway over the clones, quickly cutting three of them while they are still on the floor. One of the clones stands up and Kenobi cuts him down. Another clone gets up and fires at Kenobi. Kenobi pivots and reflects the shot into the clone's stomach. The clone backpedals into the wall and collapses.
Kenobi charges down another hallway and three shocktroopers move across him. They open fire and Kenobi starts batting their shots back at them. The clones on the left and in the middle collapse as shot fly back into them. A turret suddenly deploys from the ceiling and opens fire at Kenobi with several rapid-fire shots. Obi-Wan struggles to block the shots and the remaining clone pulls out his thermal detonator.
The trooper tosses his grenade at Kenobi, but Kenobi redirects the grenade towards the turret. It explodes and destroys the turret, clone, and causes part of the ceiling to cave in. While this is happening, Maul advances across another hallway. The former Dark Lord notices five shock troopers take aim at him.
Maul: "I grow tired of this!" The clones open fire and Maul quickly knocks back several shots back at them. Three clones are hit by deflected shots.
One of the last two looks at his comrade and says: "I knew this was a bad idea." Maul leaps forward and kicks the clone in the face. Sending him flying five feet backward unconscious. Maul force pulls the other clone towards him and horizontally slashes the clone. Then three red guards charge through the door.
The one in the middle has black stripes on his armor. He is a red guard captain. Rep guard captain: "Avenge your Emperor!" He is armed with an experimental semi-automatic blaster rifle. The guard left of him has an experimental rapid-fire heavy blaster rifle and the guard right of him has a virbosword.
The captain fires his gun, which fires a burst of several blue blaster bolts. Maul deactivates one of his sabers, so that he can deflect shots easier. Maul tilts his saber left to right as he blocks three rapid shots. The guard with a heavy blaster rifle opens fire releasing a stream of red blaster shots at 900 RPM, but Maul force rotates his gun and aims it at the captain.
A volley of shots flies through the captain's left abdomen and he crumbles. The red guard with a viroblade leaps ahead of Maul with a diagonal strike. Maul tilts his saber left, locking blades his the guard. Then Maul extends his right leg and kicks the guard in his stomach. The guard falls three feet back.
Then guard with the heavy blaster aims at Maul again and fires a stream of shots directly at him. Maul uses his full concentration as he blocks a stream of shots. His hands get hot and his body is pushed back from the sheer force of the shots. Then the guard's blaster overheats. The other guard with a virboblade gets back up and charges at Maul.
Maul force launches the advancing guard into the ceiling and a loud thud is heard as his helmet smacks the roof. The guard's body falls limp into the floor. Maul immediately leaps ahead of the guard whose weapon cool's down as he takes aim at an open Maul. Maul immediately slices the gun in half then then pushes the guard into the wall. As the man attempts to get up, Maul thrusts his saber through his back.
IN THE HEAT OF BATTLE
While Maul is battling in the complex, Obi-Wan enters another room full of bright controls and with four clone officers. Obi-Wan; "Ahh, this must be the second shield room." Obi-Wan locks eyes with a clone officer. The officer gasps in surprise. Obi-Wan: "Hi."
Obi-Wan leaps forward and horizontally cuts the clone down. Then he force pulls the officer behind him into his lightsaber. A third officer moves on Kenobi's right flank and aims fires pistol at Obi-Wan's right cheek. The Jedi bats the shot back into the clone's neck. Obi-Wan then moves towards the controls as another officer shoots at his right shoulder. Kenobi force reflects the blue bolt into the officer's chest. The officer holds his chest in pain as he stumbles backward on the floor.
Obi-Wan deactivates the turbolaser shields then activates his comm, "The shields are down, I repeat the shields are down! Ahsoka, take those turbolasers out!"
Ahsoka: "I'm on it Obi-Wan." Ahsoka decloaks her fighter as she fires a volley of yellow turbolaser fire into the South West turbolaser turret. A massive explosion shakes the facility. The turbolaser at the South East flank notices her fighter and fires a stream of blue turbolaser shots at her. Ahsoka moves her fighter right as flies past several shots.
The turbolaser begins to lock onto her. Ahsoka: "I wish, I would have gotten one of those faster ships. I don't know what Maul was thinking, giving me the slowest ship." The shots start closing in on Ahsoka, then a volley of yellow turbolaser shots flies into the South East Turbolaser turret.
Ahsoka: "Thanks Rex."
Rex: "I hope I didn't compromise the plans, but letting you die wouldn't have solved anything." Rex then swoops past the other side of the facility and fires a payload of shots into the North East turbolaser turret, destroying it. The North West turbolaser turret takes aim at his gunship and opens fire.
The right side of the gunship is hit and the gunship stutters from the blast. Ahsoka flies behind the turret and fires multiple turbolaser shots into it. The cannon explodes into several debris. Ahsoka: "Get out of here Rex. Put your cloaking system back on. Republic reinforcements will be here, but they will just assume it's me if you stay out of here until we are all ready to depart. We will regroup at one of the platforms when it is time."
Maul responds on the common, "Yes, I can now read our positions since we are together. Let us meet at the North East platform when it is time. The South West platform is closer but, seems to have more Republic forces around that way."
Ahsoka: "Alright, then I will land at the South East platform since it still has a close route to that location and I don't want to lure them in the wrong direction. I also should land so they think we are all here and don't expect Rex."
Ahsoka lands her fighter on the southeast entrance. It is completely clear and a large portion of the platform has been destroyed by turbolaser fire. It is littered with clone corpses which makes Ahsoka drop a tear. Ahsoka runs into a hallway as she looks to take some head off her allies. Ahsoka nears a footstep behind her then turns and notices a clone assassin.
Another leaps in front of her and a third one moves in on her left flank. Clone assassin: "Going somewhere Jedi?"
Ahsoka: "I sense most of you have been wiped out now. You must be the last of your team. It's not too late to run away."
Clone assassin: "We are not going anywhere."
Ahsoka activates her blue lightsabers and gets in her battle stance. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan advances into a large white room. He can tell he is near Maul's location. Then he sees several shock trooper corpses. He runs to the center and sees Sidious's corpse along with a couple of royal guards, shadow troopers, turret debris, and Yoda's dead body. Obi-Wan bends down as he stands over his old friend.
Obi-Wan: "By the force, I can't believe it. You fulfilled your purpose, my old friend." Obi-Wan starts weeping then rises to his feet. Suddenly, Kenobi hears a blaster shot fly behind him. He rotates his body and reflects it. The shot flies into the distant wall.
Kenobi looks around in every direction then looks back at a shadow trooper corpse. Another shot flies at his right flank and Kenobi rotates his body and reflects the shot into a shadow trooper. Another shot flies at Kenobi's neck from his right flank. Kenobi turns and reflects that shot into another shadow trooper's helmet. Obi-Wan: "There must be one--".
Obi-Wan is suddenly interrupted by a tapping sound that he hears. Kenobi instinctively leaps forward and a massive explosion knocks him down. A shadow trooper aim's at Kenobi's back while he is down. Kenobi swiftly force pulls his saber in his hand and activates it as a blaster shot flies at his neck.
Kenobi knocks the shot back into the shadow trooper's chest. Kenobi stands up and has a sigh of relief. Kenboi: "I wish I fought more with those guys rather than against them."
Maul moves closer to Kenobi's location in an empty hallway. Then he suddenly stops in his tracks. A blue blaster shot flies behind Maul, he immediately shifts his body and reflects it into a clone shadow trooper. Another shot flies from behind him and Maul deflects it. Then a stream of shots fly from two directions behind Maul and from two in front of him.
Maul spins his saber staff around as he blocks several shots and dodges some as well. Maul reflects one of the shots into a shadow trooper on his upper right flank. Then Maul senses the location of the shadow trooper on his upper left flank. He charges towards the clone and vertically cuts him down. Maul repositions himself as he blocks several shots from the other two clones that were behind him.
Maul charges forward and cuts down the clone on the right then deflects several shots from the clone on the left. Maul force chokes the clone and snaps his neck then tosses him aside. Then Maul runs through the next door. Maul enters another chamber. This one has light brown walls, a dark grey floor, and a golden ceiling. The room also has four massive windows that sunlight shines through, two on the right and two on the left.
He notices five clones firing at a distant Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan knocks back two blaster shots into two of the clones. Maul then leaps behind the clone on the right and horizontally slices him in half. The clone in the middle notices Maul and panics. Clone: "Woooh!"
Maul lunges forward and vertically cuts the clone down with an upward strike. Obi-Wan dispatches the last clone with a spinning saber throw and his saber hilt flies back in his hand like a boomerang. Maul: "Well, done Kenobi."
Obi-Wan: "Why thank you." Then four windows suddenly burst open and one clone jet trooper flies from each direction.
While this is happening, Ahsoka battles clone assassins. The assassin in front of her charges and leaps forward with a spinning diagonal attack. Ahsoka leaps backward and an assassin behind her leaps towards her with a horizontal attack. Ahsoka turns around and horizontally slices the clone in half.
Then the assassin left of her lunges at her. Ahsoka vertically swings her right saber at the clone and he leaps backward. The assassin ahead of her leaps forward with a spinning diagonal attack and Ahsoka spins backward, narrowly avoiding his blades. Ahsoka thinks, "wow these clones are fast."
The clone right of her charges again and Ahsoka swings her left saber horizontally to keep him at bay. He leaps backward again, avoiding the attack. Ahsoka realizes she is taking too long. She snatches the assassin in front of her with force grip then tosses him into the left wall. The assassin left of her jumps forward with a vertical attack.
Ahsoka turns left and catches him with force grip then tosses him to the right. The assassin hits the floor hard, but rolls back to his feet and gets in his battle stance. Ahsoka taunts, "Come on!" The assassin charges at her and Ahsoka throws her right saber through his stomach, splitting him in two pieces. Her saber returns to her with force pull.
The assassin that Ahsoka force pushed into the wall gets back up and lunges at Ahsoka. Ahsoka turns left and leaps forward. Then she swiftly horizontally swings her sabers right. A slash can be heard as she cut's through the clone's stomach. His legs buckle and he falls.
Maul: "Jet troopers!"
Obi-Wan "Ahh, I have been waiting for these guys to show up."
The jet troopers on the lower right and left flanks immediately open fire at Obi-Wan. Kenobi turns his body and faces the clone on the right then blocks his blaster shot. The jet trooper on the lower right left flank flies behind Obi-Wan and fires at his back. The Jedi master tilts his saber behind his back, reflecting the shot into the jet trooper.
The jet trooper's body flies through the lower right window. Then the clone jet trooper on the upper right flank fires at Obi-Wan and he rotates his body deflecting the blast into the jet trooper's upper stomach. The jet trooper falls.
Maul blocks several shots from the jet trooper on the upper right flank then force grabs him. Maul throws the jet trooper at the airborne clone on the lower right flank. The clone above Obi-Wan, flies left avoiding the attack while his compared is thrown into a wall and explodes. Chunks of the wall fall off towards the jet trooper and Kenobi.
Kenobi flips backwards away from a debris while the jet trooper is knocked out of the air by a fragment. The jet trooper crashes into the ground and explodes. Obi-Wan quickly turns around and locks eyes with Maul. Maul: "Good job Obi-Wan."
Obi-Wan: "You almost crushed me."
Maul: "I knew a Jedi of your skill level would move out of the way. We must destroy our enemies as efficiently as possible."
Obi-Wan: "Maul you know I don't agree with that. We are almost at the North East exit, let us go."
Maul: "No Kenobi, I have thought of but one purpose when I returned from the dead. One great purpose, any other goal was minor. That purpose was to kill you, until I realized how Sidious stood in the way of my plans. Then I found two purposes."
Kenobi frowns as he hears Maul's story. Maul: "To kill Sidious first, then to kill you!"
Obi-Wan: "Good, I've been waiting to avenge Satine and Qui Gon."
Maul: "Revenge is not the Jedi way."
Obi-Wan: "But self-defense is and sometimes things just go hand in hand."
Maul ignites his saber staff and twirls it horizontally as he prepares for battle. Obi-Wan gets in his battle stance.
Blood, Sweat, and Tears
Maul jumps forward and swings his lightsaber horizontally left to right. Obi-Wan tilts his saber left to right blocking each blow. Maul then attacks diagonally left to right. Again, Obi-Wan blocks each attack. Maul and Kenobi both twirl backwards and reanalyze each other.
Maul: "I have waited long for this glorious day. One shall stand and one shall fall. It all ends here." Maul jumps towards the Jedi master with a vertical flip attack. Obi-Wan parries right of the attack. Then Maul horizontally swings high at his rival's head. Obi-Wan ducks and readjusts.
Then Obi-Wan rushes Maul with two horizontal strikes, right then left. Maul turns his saber left to right blocking both attacks then Maul leaps forward and horizontally swing's at Kenobi's stomach. Obi-Wan leaps backwards then leaps forward with a diagonal right attack. Maul twirls his saber and blocks the attack.
Then Maul pushes Obi-Wan's saber to the left and leaps forward with a horizontal swing. Kenobijumps over the attack and kicks Maul in the chest. Maul stumbles three feet backwards then charges at Obi-Wan in rage. Maul slides forward with a vertical power strike, Kenobi bobs left as he avoids the attack. Maul swings again at Kenobi's neck, but Obi-Wan ducks.
Maul presses forward again and backhands Kenobi with his left arm. Obi-Wan falls on his knees. While Kenobi is down, Maul lunges his saber at the middle of the Jedi's back. Kenobi rolls right and hops back on his feet. Maul leaps forward with a horizontal spinning strike and Kenobi flips behind Maul.
Maul turns around and presses forward again. Swinging left then right horizontally. Kenobi tilts his saber side to side, blocking the strikes. Maul then moves forward with a rapid flurry of five spinning vertical strikes. Obi-wan keeps his distance and blocks each attack. Obi-Wan swings vertically at Maul twice and the dark warrior shifts his saber side to side blocking the strikes.
Master Kenobi swings again horizontally at Maul's lower blade, knocking the Zabrak back. Then Obi-Wan slices the middle of Maul's staff in half. Maul stumbles and force grabs the two severed fragments back in his hands then reactivates them. Obi-Wan leaps forward with four horizontal attacks from right to left.
Kenobi knocks Maul's left saber out of his hand. Then swings at Maul two more times horizontally. Maul blocks both attacks while backpedaling. Obi-Wan knock's Maul's right, sending it flying out of his hand. Then Kenboi elbow's Maul with his left arm. Maul stumbles on his knees. Obi-Wan raises his blade as he prepares to land the finishing blow.
Maul suddenly stretches out his right hand and chokes Obi-Wan. He picks him up, tosses Obi-Wan's saber out of his hand, and force pulls Kenobitowards him. Then Maul uppercuts Kenobi and sends him flying three feet backward. Maul leaps on to of Kenobi and punches him in the face. Maul pounds the Jedi in the face a second time and a loud crack can be heard.
Maul attempts a third punch, but Kenobi catches it with his right hand. Maul grabs onto Kenobi's throat with his left hand and tightens his grip. Obi-Wan force launches Maul off him then Kenobi stands back on his feet and force pulls his lightsaber back in his hand. Then the Jedi reactivates his saber. Maul leaps back to his feet and reignites his sabers.
While this is happening, Ahsoka advances into a hallway where there are five clone shock troopers. Three of them open fire and Ahsoka blocks several shots from them. Ahsoka reflects two shots into two of the clones. Ahsoka runs up against the right wall then jumps off it and kicks the clone on the right in the face, knocking him unconscious. Ahsoka lands in front of the clone in the middle and she rolls forward the vertically cuts him down with a downward strike. The last clone fires at her and Ahsoka reflects the shot back into his chest.
Ahsoka uses the force to pry open the door in front of her and notices Maul and Obi-Wan fighting. Kenobi charges at Maul with a vertical strike and Maul shifts his sabers forward as he blocks the attack. Kenobi kicks Maul in the stomach and he falls. Obi-Wan: "You are beaten Maul, face it. You are half as dangerous with your staff severed. Dual sabers isn't your thing."
Maul defiantly shouts, "Never!"
Ahsoka: "Wait, Obi-Wan stop! We need to work together to get out of here."
Obi-Wan: "No we don't. Ahsoka, he killed Anakin! We can't trust him."
Ahsoka: "Many Jedi would have done the same if they had the chance."
Kenobi sighs and keeps his saber pointed at Maul, "He wanted to kill me. He started this fight."
Ahsoka looks at Maul and asks, "Maul, is this true?"
Maul: "Yes. I wanted revenge."
Ahsoka: "Why? The only reason you faced him was because you were a tool for Sidious. Didn't you tell me we were both tools for greater powers?"
Maul: "But you are right. I was a tool of Sidious. I should have let it go. However, I was taught to hate and get revenge by my family. It's all I know."
Ahsoka: "Then don't. The Darkside is not the way."
Maul: "No, the dark side is not all bad. You should know that by now."
Ahsoka: "The dark twisted path you've been going on is not right. The Jedi were off and foolish but so were the Sith. We need a new balanced approach."
Maul: "You are right."
Obi-Wan: "Fine Ahsoka, I will spare him only for you. But I don't trust him. I will keep my guard up. Maul, keep your distance from me. Ahsoka, stand between the three of us."
Maul stands up, "Don't be so certain. I was not out of the fight yet." The trio advances into the next hallway. They notice a team of five clones in the hallway across them. The clones immediately open fire and the team advances. Maul, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan deflect several shots from the clones. Ahsoka deflects blaster shots back into the clone in the middle and the clone on the middle right. Kenobi reflects shots back into two clones on the left. Maul reflects a shot from the clone on the right into his neck.
Another three clones move in. The one in the middle has a chain gun and the other two have blaster carbines. Obi-Wan force pulls the clone on the left towards him and horizontally cuts the trooper down. Maul leaps in front of the clone on the right and horizontally cuts the clone down with his right saber. The gunner opens fire and Ahsoka flips behind him. Then Ahsoka decapitates the gunner with a swift horizontal swing.
The three warriors advance through the door on the North East platform. They notice Commander Fox, four clone shock troopers with blaster carbines, and five jet troopers hovering over them. Commander Fox: "Well, well well. What do we have here? Two traitors and one freak. I can't wait to rid the galaxy of you all."
Kenboi: "Didn't you tell your men you were going to do that when this battle began? How has that gone for you so far? Four turbolasers destroyed and countless men lost. It's not too late for you to surrender."
Commander Fox laughs, "Surrendering is not in my blood and our plan wasn't all bad. We managed to kill the Grand Jedi Master didn't we?"
Ahsoka: "Enough talk, let's fight."
Fox: "Fire!" The clones open fire and Ahsoka, Maul, and Kenobi immediately start deflecting shots. Two of the shock troopers beside Fox immediately go down when blaster shots fly into them. Fox fires a volley of shots directly at Ahsoka who moves her saber side to side as she blocks several bolts. Maul is pinned down as two jet troopers and a shock trooper concentrate fire on him. A jet trooper joins the fight against Ahsoka and also fires at her. Ahsoka knocks a shot back in the jet trooper and he does crashing down in Fox's direction.
Fox dives forward as the jet trooper hits the ground and explodes. Smoke flows from the crash site. Kenobi has the best defense. He easily deflects a shot from one of the shock troopers back into his stomach. The jet trooper he is fighting constantly changes his position, as he fires at Obi-Wan from different angles. Desperately trying to find an opening. The jet trooper tosses a grenade at Kenobi, forcing him to jump forward as he evades the explosion. Kenobi swiftly rolls back to his feet and finds himself across from Fox who is firing at Ahsoka.
While this is happening, a jet trooper moves on Maul's right flank to get a better angle at him. The other jet trooper moves on his left land while the shock trooper keep shooting straight at him. Maul reflects a shot from the right direction into the jet trooper and he falls. The jet trooper left of him fire's at Maul's head while he is vulnerable. Maul readjusts his body as he deflects the shot then the shock trooper across him blasts Maul in his right abdomen. Maul winces in pain then leaps in front of the shock trooper and diagonally cuts him down.
The jet trooper swoops behind Maul and fires another volley of shots. Maul turns and blocks the shots. While this is happening, Obi-Wan blocks more shots from the jet trooper facing him then he suddenly notices the door across from him open with another three clones preparing to flank his team. Kenobi notices a shot fly straight at his neck from the jet trooper. Kenobi tilts his saber right and redirects the shot shots back into the jet trooper's pack. His jet pack makes a loud cracking noise and he skyrockets into the door.
A massive explosion ensues that dispatches the clones at the entrance and seals the entrance with rubble. Ahsoka charges towards Fox and Fox kicks her in the face. Ahsoka collapses and Fox shoots at her while she is down. Ahsoka rolls left of the shots and leaps back on her feet then dives to Fox's left flank. Fox shoots at Ahsoka's head and she ducks then leaps towards Fox with a diagonal attack. Fox rolls left and fires a barrage of shots at Ahsoka. Ahsoka struggles to deflect the shots then leaps forward with a spinning diagonal attack.
Fox dives backward, avoiding the blow. Then Fox suppresses fires with another volley of shots. Ahsoka backpedals as she struggles to block his attacks. Fox: "There is a reason, I was Palpatine's personal commander. I'm just as fast as the clone assassins and the most accurate commander in the Republic. Rex has nothing on me." Kenobi turns and faces Fox. Then Obi-Wan charges at Fox's right flank. Fox notices Kenobi and fires a volley of shots at him. Obi-Wan blocks the shots then Ahsoka leaps at Fox's left flank.
Fox leaps backward and makes a wild split decision. He switches his blaster to stun (because stun shots have a wider radius, but a more limited range and slower rate of fire) then blasters Ahsoka with a stun shot. Ahsoka falls asleep and drops her sabers. Fox turns and fires a couple stun shots at Kenobi. Obi-Wan dives right, avoiding the shots. Fox fires another round of stun shots at Obi-Wan and the Jedi uses a force enhanced jump to avoid them and lands three feet left of Fox's position. Fox switches his blaster back to kill mode and fires a volley of shots.
Obi-Wan swiftly blocks the shots. While this is going on, Maul blocks several shots from the jet trooper who is moving to flank him. Then Maul finally reflects a shot into the jet trooper's chest and he falls. Maul takes a deep breath then looks forward and sees Kenobi battling Fox and an unconscious Ahsoka. Maul's first instinct is to see if Ahsoka is ok, since he assumes Kenobi can take the clone. He checks Ahsoka's pulse and notices that she is alive.
Fox fires multiple shots at Obi-Wan, who blocks his shots with ease. Kenobi dives two feet in front of Fox and slices his pistols in half. Obi-Wan: "Did you really think you could beat the Jedi with the best defense in the order, using ranged weapons? That is comical."
Fox pulls out two electric daggers, "This fight isn't over yet, Jedi!" Obi-Wan dives toward Fox and swings vertically at his head. Fox shifts his daggers forward and blocks the blow. Fox leaps to Kenobi's right flank and swings at him with two diagonally leaping strikes. Kenobi backpedals and blocks both attacks. Fox swings below at Kenobi's guard at his stomach, Kenobi leaps backwards. Then Obi-Wan leaps forward and knocks Fox's right dagger off the platform. Fox rushes Kenobi and grabs his left hand then knees the Jedi in the stomach.
Obi-Wan bends down in pain then Fox knocks his light saber out of his hand and prepares to strike Kenobi down. Then Kenobi performs a leg sweep, dropping Fox. Obi-Wan force pulls his saber back in his hand then horizontally swings at Fox's stomach. Fox leaps backwards and still dodges the attack. Landing on his feet. Kenobi presses forward with two horizontal attacks. Fox struggles to block them as he walks backward. Kenobi swings low and cuts Fox's legs off. Fox: "Ahhhh! You will pay Jedi."
Kenobi: "You're beaten."
Maul picks up the unconscious Ahsoka. Obi-Wan looks across at Maul and Fox throws his electric dagger Obi-Wan. Kenboi catches the dagger and tosses it off the platform. Fox: "Just kill me already!" Obi-Wan ignores Fox.
Obi-Wan: "We forgot to tell Rex to pick us up. Rex we need you to pick us up, immediately."
Rex: "On my way."
Maul looks into Obi's eyes and says, "Kenobi, I'm sorry." A blaster bolt flies through Maul's chest. He immediately drops Ahsoka and falls on his chest. Obi-Wan yells, "No!" Obi-Wan looks up and notices a clone sniper on the rooftop. The sniper fires a second time and Obi-Wan reflects the shot back in his neck. A second bolt flies towards Obi-Wan and he bats it back into another clone sniper on the rooftop. Obi-Wan scans the roof to see if there are any more snipers, but sees nothing.
Kenobi looks at the mortally wounded Maul, who has taken one too many hits. Obi-Wan: "Maul, I never thought you could change."
Maul smiles, "I never did either. Maybe I'm not that much of a monster after all or maybe I am just being used for a greater purpose. Either way, I thank you for helping me defeat Sidious. Now, fulfill your destiny. You know it better than me, but let nothing hold you back from your true purpose. The galaxy needs you in a time like this." Maul begins to cough violently and blood flows from his mouth. Kenobi holds him and his body gets colder.
Ahsoka suddenly starts to wake up. She runs to Maul and asks, "What's happening?"
Obi-Wan: "A sniper shot him. I was wrong about Maul, so it seems. But regardless of his purpose, he has asked me to fulfill my destiny."
Ahsoka has a tear fall across her eye. This war and conflict has brought so much pain. So many lives have been lost, all she can do now is make the sacrifices worth it. Maul's body becomes still and Kenobi closes his eyes. He is one with the force. Ahsoka and Kenobi hear the sound of a engine. They immediately get a message. Rex: "Back up."
Obi-Wan and Ahsoka walk backward and Rex's gunship decloaks. They immediately enter it and the gunship takes off into space. Rex immediately makes a hyperspace jump back to Canno since the planet currently is a good place to hide. While the team drifts into space a conversation breaks out.
Rex: "So Yoda, Sidious, and Maul are all dead? What a crazy time? What future do we have?"
Ahsoka: "The future is uncertain, but we must make the best of it. The Jedi are still alive and can rise from the ashes. Nearly destroyed, but still kicking. Probably only a few hundred left now."
Obi-Wan: "It's not too late to rejoin us."
Ahsoka: "I'm not sure if that's what I want."
Kenobi: "Very well, you still have time to decide.'
Ahsoka: "My answer depends on if the order is willing to reform itself. That will impact my decision."
Obi-Wan: "The order is nearly leaderless. After Yoda died, we made a new succession rule with survivors. I was next in line to be Jedi Grandmaster if Yoda died. The order won't know what to do just yet, if I am gone too long then another will be given the spot. But for now, I am next. They won't make a decision too rashly. when they realized what has happened I will certainly be the next Grandmaster."
Ahsoka: "Congratulations Kenobi. The Order could not have a better new Grandmaster. One who is wise, practical, and open minded."
Obi-Wan: "Yes, but also close minded when I need to be. But sometimes when I should be close minded becomes less clear."
Ahsoka: "Still not too rigid like the Jedi of old. If you need any help making decisions I can be a neutral advisor. If the new council approves of that, I know its not a dictatorship."
Obi-Wan: "Indeed, we have not had the elections yet of the new members. It will be interesting. I believe I'm the only old member left."
Rex: "Good thing the best one is still kicking. It's still too bad the others are gone."
Kenobi: "There is another thing. Anakin has a son and a daughter. Senator Bail Organa has agreed to take care of the son. The mother recently died. I did not tell you, because too much was at stake."
Ahsoka's eyes flow with tears. Obi-Wan: "I know. The son will be watched over by his family on Tatooine, I brought him there. But someone needs to keep an extra eye on him. I don't think that will be enough. It's a dangerous planet. Tuskens, criminals, gangs, you name it. A bit less dangerous if the Empire falls, but right now that's not a guarantee. Other hungry dictators might take over in the mean time and they might find value in a hidden Jedi."
Ahsoka: "The order could take him, now that you know Sidious is dead and the Sith are gone."
Obi-Wan: "The order is still in a dangerous spot. While I have no doubt that we can protect them, I think he is at a better start as he is. Something tells me that this is the way. But I need someone to watch him if I'm going to try it. I also know that we can't just take him back now, because his uncle hates force sensitives. He won't be willing to give him up."
Ahsoka: "Well you have an entire order of Jedi to watch over him. Perhaps not an order of 10,000 Jedi, but still a couple hundred to choose from."
Obi-Wan: "Most of those few hundred are children, I have a few dozen to choose from at best. I can't just have a Padawan take the mission. I need a decent Knight. But I am sure there are a few who would do a decent job." Kenobi sighs in disappointment.
Ahsoka: " I'll do it."
Obi-Wan: "Are you sure?"
Ahsoka: "Who else can teach him about his father? You won't find a better trainer than me."
Obi-Wan: "Ok, but if you do this it is a total commitment. You will have to spend A LOT of time on Tatooine. You can occasionally leave if the force compels you to ,but Tatooine is no fun planet. I could have a jedi switch places with you every now and then if you would like."
Ahsoka: "Perhaps, but I don't think I'll need any help. I'm beyond the desires for a glamorous life. I owe if to my old master and his old friend. Because I can already guess who the mother is. But there is one query."
Obi-Wan: "What's that?"
Ahsoka: "I'm still not a Jedi. I don't want to be either, not right now. Are you ok with me teaching him?"
Obi-Wan: "Like you said, there is no one better for the job. I don't agree with everything you believe, but I know you are a very wise young woman and you still know a lot of things. Some things that I don't even know."
Ahsoka blushes, "Thanks, Obi-Wan."
Kenobi looks at Rex, "What are you going to do?"
Rex: "I'm going to go fishing and farming. I've always wanted to do it. I've always wanted something different and the opposite of the crazy fast-paced and violent life. I'm also going to see if there are other clones who removed their chips and link up with them."
Obi-Wan: "Fair enough. If you need some funds to get you by, we Jedi still have a few saved up. I don't know how long they'll last since the government isn't supporting us anymore. We are planning on making a couple of underground businesses. The force will guide us. The same goes for you, Ahsoka."
Ahsoka: "Thanks, I do have some credits saved as a Jedi and when I was living on my own. I can always take a few jobs or enter some sports contests to earn some extra money. But, Obi-Wan, I thought of one more question."
Obi-Wan: "What's that?"
Ahsoka: "What is the boy's name? Anakin's son..".
Kenobi: "Luke."
And so it was. The team went their separate ways. Ahsoka became a hermit on Tatooine watching after Luke and planning to train him one day. Rex became a farmer and linked up with Wolfee (chip removed) and Gregor (commandos are more independent than other clone variations) who both became farmers. Obi-Wan became the new Jedi Grandmaster who slowly maintained the remnants of the Jedi Order and worked to help it grow into a better one than before.
