"Alright System, activate the Reactor."

Daniel felt a dull hum, and he...sensed...his surroundings beginning to define themselves.
The sensation reminded him of a fog that was being pushed away from him, revealing all the things that were hidden.
He tried to look around, and it felt like he was rotating a security camera, just at a faster pace.
He also...felt rather than saw... all of the debris that was around him.
A moment later, the sphere that he'd felt expanding around him stopped just at the edge of the system, allowing him to "see" everything around him, including all the celestial bodies, as well as the asteroids.
"System, am I seeing this sensor data in real time?"
[Commander, you can see all of the Level 1 data of everything in your current system.]
"What does Level 1 data refer to?"
[Level 1 Sensor: Avatar's sensor's can detect and view anything within a system. However, User will only be able to see the shape of any given object, and is unable to see any specific information about the object.]
"So I can see the planets, but not what they are made of?"
[Yes, Commander]
Daniel pondered this information.
Strictly speaking, even this "Level 1" Sensor was better than any other direct observation technology.
He could sense every edge, every crevice, every dust speck on the everything in the system.
Although, now that he thought of it, he couldn't see anything beyond that.
Even the wreckage of the Sheffield, which he knew contained Cillium, was only shown as bits and pieces of debris, with no identifying characteristics.
"System, you refer to this sensor as Level 1. Does that mean I'm able to increase the Level to obtain more data?"
[Commander, you are correct. If you obtain the Components necessary to upgrade the sensor's, you will be able to see more information about any given object.]
That was worth knowing, since his sensor's only reported the planets as [Terrestrial] or [Gaseous], and the debris was just that, [Star Ship Debris].
Danial thought back to the System's suggestion just after the Reactor went online.
"I wonder..."
"System, please review the Avatar."

Daniel Scanned down the list projected in front of him, mentally writing down the information.
He saw he could expand each module, so he selected the Reactor first.
The other modules disappeared, replaced by a brief explanation of the Reactor.

Upgrade Condition: 0/1 Destroyer Reactor
Notice: Reactor will shut down all active modules if capacity reaches 0.

"So, this probably means that each module uses a certain amount of energy to activate and maintain. I'll need to be careful not to deplete the energy."
He moved pass the sensor module, since he already knew it, and selected the Sauveterre Engine. He knew what it was, but he needed to find out about its energy consumption.

Daniel's mental eyebrows rose. It seems that the modules only needed to be activated, not maintained.
That didn't really make sense, until he realized that he would no longer be able to use those units after activation.
So if he used the Sauveterre Engine, he'd be left with 95 Energy Units to use on other modules.
It seems he would need to make upgrading the Reactor a Priority.
After writing down his mental notes and starting a preliminary to-do list, he moved to the next module.

After reading through the description of the Hovarth Engine, Daniel moved on to the Weapon Systems.
He payed special attention to this module, since it was probably going to be one of the more important and useful modules.
He mentally selected the module, watching it expand and portray it's information with intent eyes.

Daniel mentally nodded. Nothing surprising here.
He looked at the next module.

Daniel checked the Armor hit-points to see what his total would be. 20 hit-points didn't sound like a lot, but he was only a reactor, armor, an engine, and a drive. He looked further down down and nodded to himself.

Daniel nodded as his hypothesis was confirmed.
He didn't know what sort of damage ships his size could pump out, but he guessed he would probably be killed instantly by any ship that decided he took up too much space.
He sighed, hoping the components he needed were easy to source, while he looked at the next module.

Finally, looked at the last module.

Daniel's mental eyebrows rose once again.
Drone Carrier Ships were relatively new technology. Drones had always been apart domestic life on planets, especially in the city.
Only recently were they introduced to space combat. Each star nation had their own design and specifications, but only their capital ships or specialized Carrier Ships deployed them.
Having the option on a ship the size of a corvette was unheard of.
Finally, Daniel figured he could ask the System any questions, but before he did, he noticed the [Ship View].
