Taurus awoke from his sleep upon hearing the knocks and a moment later, a figure stormed into the room.
"Daaaaddy!" Amelia shouted before charging at her father, jumping into his arms as he held her tightly while staring at his newborn son.
She eventually left her father and rushed to Theo as Taurus stared at both of them before holding onto his mother, feigning his true feelings.
Edmund stepped forward before making his intention known.
"Meet your father, sweaty," Alexandra spoke in a soft tone before lifting him up and slowly handing him over to Edmund. He held Taurus in one arm while using his free hand to play with him.
"Let's name him Taurus," Edmund suddenly suggested a name as Taurus held his finger with his two tiny hands.
Alexander nodded her head without any signs of rejection before responding happily, "That's a good idea!"
Taurus listened quietly while playing, knowing he was named after his maternal grandfather just like Theo was named after his paternal grandfather.
"Can't we just call him Taru?!" Amelia questioned, revealing her concern.
Theodore was called Theo for short to differentiate between him and his grandfather, she thought the same should apply to Taurus.
On the other hand, she had a completely fresh name given by her mother and didn't need such a thing.
Taurus released a supportive giggle before staring at his older brother, it was the only face he wasn't familiar with and the one he wanted to know well like how he knew them well.
"I agree, what about you?" Theo spoke before stepping forward, offering his hands to take Taurus while questioning his father.
"How could I deny my children such a thing? Feel free to call him whatever you want." Edmund spoke before handing Taurus over. Taurus stared at Theo for a few moments before playing along.
'Nice to meet you!' He stared at Theo, noticing how his brother took after their parents.
His hand was as handsome as his father's, his nose was smaller like his mother and his hair was short, a mix of silver and gold.
Taurus thought and although he knew he could talk as a baby, he refrained from doing such a thing as it could easily reveal what he wanted kept to himself.
On the other hand, he didn't intend to hold himself back from talking with beasts or other creatures that couldn't be understood normally.
Taurus broke out crying a few minutes later, making his hunger known to his mother.
Theo handed his sibling back to his mother before sitting on the bed as their father spoke his words, concerning Amelia.
"Are you ready to awaken yet, sweaty?" Edmund asked since his daughter was twelve years old, the prime age for humans to form their mana cores and connect themselves to the world core.
Taurus listened carefully, he remembered what talents, physiques and spirits were.
"Can I supervise her awakening myself?" Theo asked and although he had an average talent and spirit, his great physique, was a Thunder Priest. Something that made their family proud.
Still, he was excited to see Amelia awaken before his own eyes.
"Yes!" Amelia shouted excitedly. Normally, children would awaken and build their mana cores with the guidance of their teachers upon reaching their prime age.
'Will it become different this time?' Taurus thought knowing very well this was another change happening due to his efforts.
He had a light doubt about whether his brother was fully qualified to do what he wanted and assist their sister in his father's stead.
Edmund thought for a moment before granting his approval, it was enough to assure Taurus and wipe his doubt. Amelia sped out and Theo followed behind her.
"Well, I will help them with the formation," Edmund spoke before rising up from his chair as Taurus' baby noise could be heard, making his wish to go outside clear.
Alexandra handed him over to his father before making her intentions to sleep clear.
Taurus stared at the fancy interior of their house despite it not being the first time he had gone out since his birth.
They eventually reached the door before stepping into the vast garden, their courtyard.
Taurus followed his father's eyes until he saw his brother preparing a mana-gathering formation to assist his sister and speed up her process.
One had to sense the mana in the atmosphere before proceeding with building their core, and such formations were the best way to prove to someone the support they needed.
Edmund closed in, a brightly glowing stone appearing in hand before crushing it.
'A Mana Stone? I see.' Taurus thought as the mana dust flew toward the finished formation before lighting it up. As their name suggested, they were made of nothing but pure mana.
Every place had its own currency, and so did the Tyran Empire. However, the best currency for someone traveling from one place to another was different from the mana stones.
Tyran was a flourishing empire and Edmund was not the only duke. Competitions were very normal among the nobles and across the empire, thus he retrieved a couple more mana stones before crushing them in the hope of increasing Amelia's chances.
'I hope her talent and spirit remain the same, but this stupid amount of mana could definitely cause a change…' Taurus thought, guessing his sister may get something different at this rate.
In the end, he hoped it would be nothing useless.
She eventually stepped forward before taking a lotus position at the center of the formation with her eyes closed.
Amelia followed her brother's instruction, trying to sense the mana particles in the atmosphere around her as Taurus kept his eyes glued just like his father.
"Great!" Edmund muttered quietly as the light began seeping into Amelia's body less than five minutes later.
Taurus on the other hand found it very normal due to the insane density of mana that Edmund created by sparing nothing to assist his daughter.
Theo proceeded to teach his sister how to guide her mana to her dantian so she could form her mana core.
To their surprise, she was quite gifted and after ten more minutes, she was done with forming her precious mana core.
Sure enough, Taurus noted the change in her status once again after her brother guided her and taught her how to bring her interface up.
She awakened a fiery spirit, a phoenix at the S-rank to be exact and it granted her a single trait, which allowed her partial control over flames.
Her talent remained the same as in her past life, an SS-ranked one that granted her two traits.
First, an A-ranked skill to revert the damages up to severed limbs, and the second, an S-ranked one that did the opposite, allowing her to interfere with other healers.
Her physique, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen, she was quite normal with nothing special just like her past life.
