บท 32: Changing Times

Landon was sitting on his throne with a faint smile on his face looking down on his ministers, noble supporters and other palace workers. He always dreamed of becoming the Emperor.He dreamed of ruling over the land with an iron fist, of being feared and respected by all. He dreamed of being the most powerful man in the Empire, and now he is but he can't rule like how he wanted when he was a child. He was a child, he didn't know any better but now he knows everything about politics , management and war.

"Your Excellency, a letter from the Organization they are asking for you to finish your end of the deal" said Landon's most trusted assistant Evie, she had black eyes , black hair and a beautiful face with a very attractive body.

"Sure give them that thing , what was it called again Bomb" Said Landon

"Yes your Excellency" Evie said and left the courtroom.

Organization was a one of the biggest information networks on the Eastern Continent second only to Conley's screact network, The reason why Landon was always able to keep up with Conley was because Organization helped him track their moments or else he wouldn't have known what plan Conley was cooking.

3 years ago someone called himself Prophet saying that he can help him complete something called a path, Landon didn't get it but one thing was sure that guy actually knew what would happen. He told him exactly where and when he will find members of the Organization and He also gave him something called a Bomb (Which he said he brought from the Western Continent), He told him that the Organization will help him become the Emperor in exchange for the Bomb and that's what happened.

Landon hasn't see the Prophet since then but he believed his word that why even tho the bomb was a powerful weapon , he gave it away to the Organization. The Prophet told him if he didn't uphold his end of bargain he would lose everything hence he complied, well having a good relationship with the Organization was also a good idea.

While Landon was thinking all this , A man with very stand out green hair walked in the court as if he didn't care about the guards and people here , when the guards saw him walking towards Landon all of them readied themself to attack him but Landon stopped them just in time and said.

"The Great Prophet! it's been a while" Said Landon to the Green haired man.

"Indeed" He said with a smile then continued "The path you selected has been completed you became an Emperor" and started clapping then he took out a small glass crystal and said

"Someone with a great ambition will visit you in the near future make sure you give them this and say 'everything you have done was for the good' and remember there are shadows that lurk in the night that will devour you" After handing the Crystal he didn't wait rather he ran straight back towards the entrance and disappeared.

An empty space with a continuous booming sound , there was nothing but darkness for who knows how long this was the place where the Cosmic Beings prevail.

The cosmic beings watch the mortals as they scurry about their lives, much as one might watch insects. They place wagers on who will succeed and who will fail, on what the mortals will do next, and on how much entertainment they will provide. The stakes are high, and the cosmic beings take their betting seriously. They know that the mortals are not aware of the betting, but they take great pleasure in watching them nonetheless.

There are two factions in the Cosmos one call themself the Administrators while the other call themself Moderators, These two factions have being fighting supremacy over the Cosmos from the time the world was begun by the Great Astound, they were the first cosmic being to ever exist they created the system and worlds to keep them entertained but one day they spent all there Light years on a bet leaving the Cosmic beings with no leader since then the Administrators and Moderators have been trying to take control over the Space-Time flow.

Administrator Prime 5B was watching Eugene and Aria a voice ringed in the space

[I see that you are using the Abandoned world as your playground Prime 5B, this will cost you if the Moderators find out]

{Everything will be over for them before they even find out Prime 2B}

[What do you mean?]

{Do you really think I would risk sneaking someone into a world just for entertainment? You should know better than anyone that I'm no idiot.}

[That's what I don't understand why did you do that and said it was for entertainment in the Cosmic Council meet]

{I was scaring the moderators to make them spill the beans}

[I am confused, What do you mean]

{You see, when I observed the moderators, I found something odd. They were moving conscious of the dead into abandoned worlds so I brought up the case in the Cosmic meet}

[Yeah I know that, They said it was for Entertainment so we let them be. What about it?]

{I don't believe it so I sent one myself by sacrificing few light years to pressure them into thinking that I know of there secret , it will be easier to find out what they are planing when they are panicking}

[You know what I take back what I said , you are a real idiot if you want to investigate then do it by hiding not by warning your enemy !]

{Don't Worry Prime 2b already I figured out what they are after, that's why I sent the dead with a gift by scarfing more than half of my light years}

[You are insane, what could be so important in an abandoned world for you to spend half your light years!!]

`Jola Island at the docks`

The Imperial ship glides into the harbor and is soon moored at the docks. The islanders come out to greet their visitors, waving and cheering. The crew of the ship make preparations to go ashore and meet the islanders. The island is small but picturesque, with a sandy beach and palm trees swaying in the breeze. The crew are made to feel welcome by the islanders.

Lily and Lain walk down the ship with a bunch of knights around them while they look at the port area they see a huge sand brick wall and few stone walls (Cement) half built while they can also see smoke coming out from the distance in the sky which made them believe maybe there was a fire accident in the city but by the looks of the people in the port area and Eugene's Knights it looked like they were not worried at all. Rather they were crowding near Lady Lain because everyone thought she had died but now seeing her standing there Eugene's knights were overflowing with emotions.

A handsome man on a horse was riding towards them. He had a familiar Black hair, Gray eyes and Pale skin with one look. Both Lain and Lily knew who this was. It was Hughes of course.

"What the Fuck is going on?" Hughes thought to himself as he rode up to the docks. He could see a commotion going on, and as he got closer, he realized that the center of attention was a woman who looked eerily like Lady Lain. "Could it really be her?" he wondered, his heart pounding in his chest. He quickly dismounted his horse and pushed his way through the crowd, never taking his eyes off the woman. As he got closer, he could see that it was, in fact, Lady Lain. He couldn't believe it- she was alive! "My lady!" he called out, rushing to her side.

"Hughes!" Lady Lain exclaimed, throwing her arms around him in a tight embrace. "I thought you were dead!" Hughes said, still in disbelief.That he didn't even care that she was still treating him like a child

"I'm so sorry to have worried you,"

Lady Lain said, pulling away slightly to look at him. "But I'm very much alive, as you can see."

"What happened? How did you survive?" Hughes asked a million questions running through his mind.

"It's a long story," Lady Lain said with a sigh.

Both Lilly and Lain sat on horses that were brought by Hughes and the Knights then they started riding into the city.

"Lily, are you sure you can ride a horse?"

"Of course." Lily said with a smile.

"It looks like you're gonna fall off any second." said hughes one should know Lily was really bad at horse riding in their childhood

"I think it's you who looks like they're gonna fall off." Lily said while she was smiling.

"Still be careful." Lain said. Lily then stopped her horse and looked at Lain. "Lady Lain, I'm not a child, I can ride a horse, I can handle myself." Lain then looked at Lily "I know, but you're still a child to me"

Lily then rode her horse next to Lain and said "I'm not a child anymore, I'm a grown woman." Lain then looked at Lily and said "I know, I'm sorry." Lily then smiled and said "It's okay, I understand."
