But of course, this performance was meant to introduce the sixteen contestants, and the camera needed to focus on others as well. Aside from that solo line, Aerine wasn't up close again, but she was seen most of the time. 

As the sixteen contestants sang at the same time, confetti resembling petals began to fall over their heads, and the Group Stage officially began.

When the contestants left, there was a short intermission for the advertisements. This was also a time for the audience to discuss among themselves. 

The fan groups were obviously talking about their idols but some also couldn't help but talk about someone from among the new faces, and the most discussed topic was none other than Aerine. 

"So, she's that one who trended before?" Someone chimed. 

"Yes! I'm convinced! She does have an angelic voice. Look, my goosebumps aren't receding yet." 

"Aerine Lee? Well, I'll be sure to follow her later!"
