บท 448: 66.5 Motivation

Dodging yet another lightning strike sent my way, I re-ignited my sword as I made my approach. Keeping an eye on the other two combatants, I made sure I wasn't getting flanked before I finally managed to get in on this lightning Summand's personal space.

"Heya..."

With a sarcastic greeting, I felt resistance as I cut through the poor guy's defenses. His daggers were too out of position for him to even try to defend as I ran him through my sword; my flames engulfing him for a brief second before I pulled it out of him. it was pretty gruesome, but there was no time to even think through the process as I immediately turned towards the two shmucks left of my group.

"d-don.. get...."

They were trembling for a brief second before they rushed ahead towards my location. Couldn't really hear whatever the guy with the sword said, but it was probably no good as the ground shook beneath me. Earth?
