My voice echoed out into the vast expanse of the Furnace. Lise had practically trailed back to the door as she waited for me. It wasn't like there was anybody still alive... Heh.. This mission was a complete and utter bust.

"I guess we should go," I shrugged as I turned towards my sister. "We'll have to tell the others that-"

"wait....."

I raised an eyebrow as my heart suddenly pounded at the noise. That... sounded like a person.

Turning back to the expanse of the Furnace, I filled my lungs up to the brim as I tried to call this potential person out.

"Hey! Anyone out there?!"
