As she cleared the path through the mess I'd made, I could already feel her exhaustion, so as I got my emotions under control, we began sharing the power back and forth, both of us weaving, but both giving control at times, the power washing in and out through our hearts, joining us, fueling and bolstering both of us.
Jesse was saturated with it and I watched her in awe, knowing how intoxicating it was to hold that in her hands and restrain it.
'Don't hold yourself back, Jesse, it will just reduce your physical strength further. Trust yourself. You know what you're doing. Use it. Let it go.'
She nodded and let it all flow a little freer and faster as we drew our attention closer and closer to the people nearer to us in the hotel, until we were molding the minds of those who were very clear about who we were, and why we were here.
I saw her, holding back, giving the men reason to turn their minds from the wolves, but I growled and urged her on.
