บท 154: 154. Last wish

Derek stared blankly at the papers in front of him. He was still trying to wrap his head around the information he just got. His late father owned the EMLAD conglomerate?

"When you flip through the documents, you will get to know the different aspects of the EMLAD group and their numerous branches. There is the oil and gas industry, another travel and tour agency and fashion house, aside the mall and the hotels that you already know. And yes, some pottery studios." Mr Mills said calmly, trying to note any chance in Derek's countenance. 

He remembered the last time he had brought up this topic when he visited him in the old mansion. He had reacted to the message and he nearly had a panic attack. Since then, he knew well to thread cautiously. And to do that, he started having small talks with him on phone once in a while to test the waters.
