บท 149: A Very Special Trip

Now that Naia was pregnant, he naturally couldn't take his time with putting a ring on her finger. 

Leon had wanted to wait for his debts to clear, for their lives to be more stable, so that he could give her the proper big wedding she deserved—but life would always throw some surprises.

At least this surprise was good. 

Anyway, about a few days before his tournaments started, Leon scheduled a trip for the two of them. He had told his teammates about his plans to propose and they pooled funds for him—provided they were given good seats in the wedding, of course. 

Coach even gave him funds as 'advanced payment' which would be waived as a bonus if he won their games. 

Leon, who had always wanted to give Naia good memories, naturally didn't decline their kind wishes. He just swore to do his best in the games to make it up to them. He would also give back and help them out as often as he could.
