บท 67: Chapter 66 Encounter

Perhaps they hadn't expected to run into each other here, the eyes of the three individually jolted.

Since her birthday, Qin Shuang had hardly seen Gu Nanzhong again.

But for some reason, upon this sudden encounter, Qin Shuang actually felt a sense of unfamiliarity.

Qin Shuang couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she always felt that something was slightly different.

"Shuangshuang, you..." Gu Nanzhong took a step forward, the words "Are you okay" lingering on his lips, but he couldn't bring himself to say them.

Qin Shuang snapped out of her brief daze, nodded politely to Gu Nanzhong, and then walked past him.

She had hardly taken two steps when Jiang Yuan called out to her: "Qin Shuang."

Qin Shuang tilted her head slightly, looking towards her: "Is there something Miss Jiang needs?"

Jiang Yuan had nothing particular to say; she just inexplicably felt somewhat embarrassed.
