As I walk through the doors and head outside, many eyes lay on me and I feel self conscious quickly enough. Did I miss something important? I look around me and see my father coming from behind the cabin. He looks stressed.
“Father?”
“Babygirl, how do you feel?” He says as he reaches my side. His hands rest on my arms and he holds me in place.
I perk a brow and look at him confused. “What is wrong? I am good, why do you ask?”
He takes a deep breath and shakes his head. “I am just coming from talking to Amra and Caliope, and no matter how we look at things, we still can’t predict when they are planning to attack. It is just a bit stressful.”
“I see, that indeed can be something unpredictable, so far they never actually followed a pattern.” I ponder on his words and my own.
“I disagree,” I hear Seth say as he walks towards us.
