As Shisui leaped into the air, he heard Itachi's voice calling out his name. "Shisui!" Itachi's voice broke, filled with urgency. Shisui could only hope that his plan to awaken Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan had been successful.
Amidst his jump, he heard a splash and a sense of foreboding filled his thoughts. 'I can only pray that my death will serve a greater purpose than my life ever could...'
The voice of the world resonated within him, confirming the acquisition of unique skills. "[Selfless]" and "[Sacrifice]". Attempt to acquire the ultimate skill, "[Sariel - Lord Of Hope]," fail. acquisition of the unique skill "[Hope]. complete"
As he faced the inevitability of his demise, countless questions swirled in Shisui's mind. How would Itachi react to his death? Would his plan to awaken Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan prove effective? Could Itachi find a way to prevent the Uchiha clan's uprising? Would their clan survive this tumultuous period? Alas, these questions remained unanswered, haunting Shisui in his final moments.
The voice confirmed another unique skill acquisition attempt, but "[Planner]" could not be obtained. Nevertheless, Shisui succeeded in acquiring the skill "[Analyst]."
The sounds surrounding him seemed distant and surreal, almost like a hallucination brought on by the impending tragedy.
-Time Skip (Waking up)-
Shisui gradually regained consciousness, finding himself in a forest with his head resting against the stump of a massive tree. Confusion clouded his eyes as he surveyed the unfamiliar surroundings.
Rubbing his head to ease the lingering pain, he attempted to piece together the events that had led him to this place. "I can see?! Why am I in a forest? Why..." His train of thought was interrupted by the rustling of bushes. Without warning, a massive black serpent lunged toward him.
Reacting on instinct, Shisui propelled himself off the ground, landing nimbly on the vertical trunk of the tree he had been resting against.
The serpent missed its mark, and Shisui locked eyes with the creature, his red orbs adorned with three black tomoe. Instantly, the serpent fell under the sway of an illusion.
Unsure of the illusion's duration, Shisui swiftly performed a series of hand signs. "Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu!"
With a forceful exhale, a colossal dragon made of fire surged forth from Shisui's mouth, hurtling toward the serpent. The intense flames consumed the creature, reducing it to ashes. Chuckling to himself, Shisui couldn't help but comment, "Perhaps a bit excessive." He rubbed the back of his head, acknowledging the display of overwhelming power.
Just as he finished his remark, a wave of palpable killing intent washed over him. Reacting instinctively, he leaped off the tree, flipping mid-air to witness the spot where he had been standing a moment ago dissolve under a corrosive, green slime-like substance.
Without warning, a peculiar creature with a frog-human hybrid appearance sprang from the trees, moving at inhuman speeds.
"Body Flicker," Shisui whispered, activating his technique. Instantaneously, he materialized behind the frog-like creature, unsheathing his tantō with the intent to decapitate it. However, as his blade sliced through its skin, rapid corrosion spread along the weapon. Surprised, Shisui jumped backward, assuming a defensive posture while holding the corroded blade at the ready.
"It's as if its entire body is corrosive. But that doesn't make sense—it only began after I cut its skin."
Before he could delve further into the mystery, the frog creature launched another projectile of corrosive liquid in his direction. Utilizing chakra to enhance his agility, Shisui leaped aside, narrowly evading the attack. However, his respite was short-lived as a worn-out sword swung downward toward him.
Harnessing the power of his Sharingan, time seemed to slow down for Shisui. Reacting with lightning speed, he flickered behind the monstrous creature, swiftly executing a series of hand signs.
"Katon Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" he exclaimed.
A colossal fireball surged forth from his mouth, engulfing the frog creature and vast portions of the surrounding area in scorching flames.
-Shisui's POV-
This forest is far from safe. I must find a village before nightfall.
Having made up his mind, Shisui announced his intention in his thoughts, propelling himself in a random direction, nimbly traversing the branches of the trees.
-Timeskip to twilight-
After running for a considerable distance, Shisui decided to climb one of the tallest trees and activate his Sharingan. Enhanced vision allowed him to scout the area more effectively.
Scanning the distance, he spotted what appeared to be a village, lacking protective walls. As he approached, the scene reminded him of Konohagakure, with cheerful villagers enjoying life. However, as he drew nearer, he noticed an unusual trait—they all had green skin.
"Why in the world are they green? Could it be a forbidden jutsu? No, they lack any trace of chakra. Even ordinary civilians possess a modicum of chakra. How is it that these people seem to have none at all?" Shisui's mind brimmed with perplexity as he contemplated this peculiar observation.
-3rd Person-
Interrupting his train of thought, a barrage of kunai blades approached him with seemingly slowed motion, easily perceptible with his Sharingan. Reacting swiftly, Shisui countered with his own well-aimed kunai, deftly deflecting or diverting each one.
"So, you're a ninja as well," a figure emerged from the shadows cast by the surrounding trees, addressing Shisui in a calm yet enigmatic manner. Gradually stepping into the light, the figure revealed itself.
