บท 54: Angry Bird

Elaine's eyes widened in disbelief as she caught sight of Mike, standing at the entrance of her home.

Elaine's disheveled appearance, with hair resembling a bird's nest and sleep still evident in her eyes, made her feel self-conscious and embarrassed. She quickly ran her fingers through her tangled locks, attempting to salvage some semblance of order.

"Hey there, Elaine." Micheal got a grip on himself and took the lead to greet and say hi with the smile he always put on.

"Oh, uh, hi, Mike," she said, while trying to hide her embarrassment but her voice betrayed her as she stammered trying to get the words out her tongue.

Mike acted oblivious to Elaine's internal turmoil, and began to speak.

"Sorry to visit uninvited, I came to let you know I've fou.." his words interrupted by the sudden slam of the door in his face. The sound reverberated through the house.
