That same night, Rosa felt as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. "Haah, good riddance," she mumbled into her pillow as she lay on her bed.

The events of the day that led to Emma being imprisoned had left Rosa feeling light, yet the fatigue that gripped her body caused her to lose sleep.

"That's enough! I'll drive myself crazy in here."

Restless, she got up and left Kael's bed, deciding to go for a stroll in the garden. She was sure that none of the knights on duty minded seeing her only in her undergarments and a shawl, now that this exact view had become so familiar to them. It was unladylike and didn't fit Elara's character, but she simply wanted to walk comfortably in the yard she'd soon bid farewell to.

Feeling melancholic all of a sudden, she gazed up at the night sky, its stars shining far brighter than those in her own kingdom. She thought of the twin she never got to know.
