บท 34: Chapter Thirty Four - The end

The day passed quickly and it was Friday already. Hari and eunwoo went to work so I was alone in the house. I made pancakes and juice for breakfast and ordered takeout for lunch.
It was 7:00pm when I checked the time, hari said she would buy dinner from a restaurant and I was waiting patiently.
I heard the doorbell ring and I stood up hastily to open the door for hari. I opened the door and came face to face with ' Jungkook '.
I stood there in shock, wtf is he doing here. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I fished it out to see a message from hari.
" I forgot to tell you, Jungkook is coming over and eunwoo and I will be back pretty late ... So enjoy "
" Ughh" I groaned after reading the text, I can't escape it.
He walked into the house brushing against me slightly, I closed the door and got in after him.
" Is eunwoo home ? " He asked settling in the chair
" No, they're gonna be back late " I replied and his phone buzzed
" Yeah, I just got mine " he answered after looking at his phone
" I bought pizza " he said dropping a paper bag on the table.
" I'll bring some drinks " I replied and walked off to the kitchen.
There's no escaping this time around, he's definitely gonna talk about it
I walked back to the living room with 4 bottles of coca-cola. We ate in silence and cleared the trash after that.
A movie was playing on the tv so we quietly watched not until a kiss scene came on and I shifted uncomfortably in my chair. He took the remote and turned off the TV then spoke up.
" Let's talk about it now Ashley"
" Uhmmmm, right now ???" I asked looking anywhere but at him
" Yes right now, you promised last time " he replied and I rubbed my palms together
" Okay, so what are your questions?" I asked finally turning to face him. We were sitting on two different chairs.
" Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?"
" I'd be a devil if I told u that, it would affect your performance and I didn't want to be that kind of girlfriend who thinks of herself only " I replied and he sighed
" So why did you keep contact with me during the 6 months of the tour?? it was like giving me false hope " he asked rubbing his palm on his Temple
" It was for the same reason, it felt like a last obligation I had to fulfill " I replied taking a deep breath as I could feel a lump in my throat. Thinking back on the memories brought back the sadness that I tried so hard to lock up.
" So why did u leave so suddenly?" He asked after a few seconds of silence
" It was for a family related reason and it was really urgent" I replied looking down and trying my best to stop the tears from falling. A few seconds of silence passed by uncomfortably before he finally spoke up.
" Why didn't you tell me about the text messages you got " he asked and my head shot up and our eyes locked immediately.
A tear rolled down from my eyes as more came pouring down after. He knew !!! He knew about the text!!
" How did you know ? " I asked with a shaky voice
He stood up and made his was to where I was sitting and bent down in front of me.
" Hari told me about it like a year ago, she said she wanted to tell me about it earlier but decided not to. I can't believe I hated you for 4 years without knowing it wasn't your fault, you must have been so scared " he explained as tears rolled down slowly from his eyes.
" I promise I didn't want to break up with you , I really really love you " I said as my voice shook cause of the sobbing.
" It's okay, I'm just glad you're safe " he replied holding one of my hand in his and wiping my tears with his second hand.
" Stop wiping my tears, you're crying too... Me ... Men shouldn't cry " I said in between heavy sobs and he laughed Abit before standing up and engulfing me in a tight hug. I buried my face in his chest as I let tears flow, the tears I've held for so long, I've missed his warmth too and the smell of his cologne..... I've missed everything.
After the whole crying incident, he sat down on the couch with me on his lap.
" I didn't miss you that much, just so you know. I was just glad that you didn't hate me for too long " I said with my puffed eyes
" You look so cute right now, look at your puffed eyes " he replied circling his hands around my waist
" Speak for yourself, your eyes looks puffy too " I replied with a pout
" I missed you so much" he said smelling my hair
" I know you did, I'm quite unforgettable" I replied with a smug smile
" Can I kiss you ? " He asked and I shook my head
" Not when I look like this, I need a shower first " I replied
" A shower ? It's just a kiss, it's not like we were gonna do it .... Wait do u want to do it ?" He replied and asked with a smirk and I smacked his arm
" Not just yet, we have to go through the whole process again, we've not seen each other for 5 years anyway " I explained
" It doesn't matter, If you're ready I'm ready, I don't even mind having kids " he replied with a wink
" I don't want any of your fans on my tail it's so terrifying.... Tf did u just say kids " I replied shooting him a glare while he nodded.
" I'll tell them I got back with my first love but I won't bring you out to them, but if they investigate and find out about you , you'll have to move in with me " he replied proudly
" I have to go back to America very soon " I replied looking away
" Really?" He asked with sad eyes
" I can stay permanently, I like it here anyways " I replied with a smile
" That's why I love you so much Ashley, you're so selfless " he replied and I paused for a second before replying
" I love you too " and pecking his cheek
" No one here ?" He asked with a pout and I smiled before turning to face him and placing my legs on either side of him, so I was straddling him. I softly placed my lips on his and he wrapped his arms around me as we both enjoyed the sweet, slow and sensual kiss. The way our lips morphed in longing made butterflies erupt in my belly
" We did it oppa " we heard someone say and we both broke off to look at hari and eunwoo
" Yes we did it " he replied to hari as they did a little high-five
" When did your guys get back ? " Jungkook asked with a little frown, he was probably pissed that we were being disturbed.
" When you guys were having your little crying activity, it was so fun to watch by the way " hari replied and I grabbed a throw pillow and threw it at her.
" Sorry to disturb your eating each other's face make out session, but if you wanna keep sucking each others faces buy a house together" hari said and I shot her a glare. They laughed as the left the sitting room.
We turned to look at each other and he softly held my face as he guided my lips to his in a wonderful breathtaking unforgettable kiss.
