บท 43: The Ultimatum

Sylvia:

The four of us headed down the stairs and Silas turned to walk down the second level and knocked on a door. Brine opened it almost immediately and stood at attention. "Wake the representatives. There is an intruder on the boundary line."

"Understood sir." He didn't even question my shield alarm. His shields hadn't picked up the threat and none of his many defense teams had alerted him, but he trusted my judgment. If we weren't heading for what is likely a negative situation it may have been enough to make me smile.
