I looked at the two men in front of me. The beautiful, strong, patient men who had been incredibly understanding and tried to keep me comfortable in our short time together already. "Mates?" I repeated, talking to the voice I had heard. It was right, they are our mates.

"Yes, it is lovely to finally hear your voice. I know why you are holding back from them, I've always known. I was here the whole time, I saw and went through it all with you. I just couldn't help you."

"Now though?"

"Now," I saw my wolf clearly in my mind, she was behind the barrier but her voice was no longer trapped behind it, "I can help."
