She decided to walk for a while on the empty streets to clear up her mind before going to the railway station to catch her train.
It was a hard decision for her to leave everything behind she had tried so hard to build for past six months and had tried her best to be happy for her now deceased parents.
A dry chuckle escaped her lips at the thought of her parents. They had both been dead for more than a year now but they had beautifully gift wrapped their only daughter and sent her to that hell-hole before their deaths. They couldn't have been more wrong about the paradise they thought they were giving their daughter.
She was so much lost in her thoughts that she jumped out of her skin when a car horn blew loudly behind her. She was sure that she had been walking on the side-walk.
With a hand on her heart she turned around to look at the owner of the vehicle who had scared her out of her wits when a tired but surprised face greeted her with a huge smile. She couldn't help the small smile which tugged at her lips at his sight. He was one of her husband's friend's. The youngest one in that cheerful boy group of seven.
To be truthful she had noticed her husband relax and smile genuinely only around this group of guys when they all came to hang out. She herself had grown a little close to the two younger ones, one of which was currently standing in front of her.
Kookie: Hani noona?! What are you doing here at this hour?
Hani: (smile vanishing) I was heading to the railway station Kookie, you here?
Kookie: (moving closer) Railway station? Now? Why?
Hani: (shrugging) had some work to take care of.
Kookie: (thoughtful) I was heading home after finishing practice when I saw you. At first I wasn't even sure about it. Didn't you tell hyung about your trip? He was still at the studio.
Hani: (panicking) it's fine I'll manage.
Kookie: (catching up with her mood) noona come with me, I'll drop you to the station.
Hani: (not trusting him) it's alright, you look tired you should go home and sleep.
Kookie didn't give a heed to her words. He instead went ahead and grabbed her bag before putting it in the trunk and opened the door for her. Hani stood their speechless and even entered the car in the same manner. Sensing the tension Kookie quietly texted his elder hyung about the situation asking his immediate presence.
I honestly don't know why I named this work as sapphire ?
