"A man with white hair?" Ena Thun's face contorted as she stared at the demon before her. The demon's appearance still disgusted her, but she had no choice but to pretend to be polite.

"You saw him yourself. Why did you not tell me about that man?" Maledrax hissed. "If I had known there was someone stronger than you, I would have been more careful!"

Why was he blaming her?

Ena pursed her lips, recalling her encounter in the Howling Mountains. She knew those two were the same, but she never expected the man to directly interfere in her business.

"I did not know about that man," she lied without batting an eyelid. "I never thought someone like him would exist." Ena was aware that if she did not use surprise to attack that man, she would never win. Luckily, the man did not think she would aid the demon, and his attention was solely on the demon. Otherwise, she would have had a very hard time hitting him.
