Second Prince Alanus wasn't even sure of why he agreed to go to the Camer Army. Maybe he wanted to make sure that his cousin kept his word and did not do anything to create trouble.

Before they left the palace, Hemeri had told him, Azelyn, and Nygel to not address him with his royal title, saying that he did not want others to know his arrival yet. Even if they were to meet General Eloria, he said that they should introduce him as a nobleman from Emerido.
