That the Empire now officially had a crown princess intended to inherit the throne after the current Emperor quickly became public knowledge. It was getting known in all Duchys with the significance not lost on any of them.

That said, the fact that the Imperial Palace had been attacked was also known and while a lot of the details were shut down to not cause unrest, the information was spread nonetheless.

The Emperor was working on contingencies to be employed in case of future attacks and he was coming up with those contingencies along with his court and his heir by his side.

Many were receiving added or new responsibilities and among them was Creten who was told it was about time he began to pull his own weight.

Creten accepted it all and shoved down whatever bitterness he had towards Tanya to focus on helping his family right now. Now was the time for him to lay low and do the work and he was very willing.
