บท 516: The Fall of Oseramos

As the dust settled and the echoes of the explosion faded, a tense silence fell over the battlefield. Nicholas and Ruby cautiously approached the edge of the crater, their eyes scanning the devastation before them.

"Is... is the mage gone?" Ruby asked, her voice solemn as she stared at the crater in order to find Lyle.

Nicholas shook his head, his expression grim. "I don't think so."

"Oseramos is a powerful mage, and that spell of his was no ordinary magic, he's probably just outside of the crater, getting ready to attack again."

As if on cue, a figure emerged from the smoke and dust from the side, walking calmly towards them. It was Oseramos, his robes tattered and singed, but otherwise unharmed.

"Well, you were right about me being a powerful mage, and I did make the mistake of underestimating your friend," Oseramos said, his voice filled with a mix of admiration and amusement. "But no matter, with him gone, this battle is finished."
