As Lyle and his group made their way to the town hall, the weight of their recent encounter hung heavily in the air. The streets of Linscht were eerily quiet, the usual bustling life subdued by the pervasive sense of dread. People whispered among themselves, their eyes filled with fear and uncertainty. News of the monster and the disappearances had spread for a while, and the town was on edge.

They had only heard that a group of powerful combatants had arrived in the town and that the group had found another corpse and made their way to the forest before coming out, they had no idea what was going on, however.

Upon arriving at the town hall, they were met by Mayor Alden, a stern but fair man who had led Linscht through many challenges. He was flanked by other town officials, including Elara, the head of the town's defense force that took care of things together with Henrik, and Thorne, the town's senior scholar.
