บท 6: Chapter 6
[2 Years passed, 8 Years have passed since arrival, approximate time until Mass Effect 1 starts, unknown]
Two years passed in a blink of an eye as I worked on a wide variety of projects and tomorrow, I would finally leave the solar system and travel to the nearest Mass Relay in the Attican Beta system.
The projects that I worked on covered a wide arrange of topics that went from Armor and Weapons to something as simple as construction materials.
In these past two years, I have already begun the construction of starbases in the 12 other systems that make up this star cluster.
I have also almost reached the seven-digit mark in my Synth production and have started construction on Worker Bots, which would not have the appearance of any of the synths and these worker bots would essentially be the 'worker' class that would do the laborious jobs that require great strength and durability!
I have also begun activating the personalities of small groups of synths to test the waters and see whether it's safe or not to activate the personalities of all of my synths.
I didn't exactly want the galaxy to know that I created the Synths when they eventually find out about them so I wanted to prevent a massive target from getting painted on my back, my plan was to be a shadow ruler to everyone other than my Synths who would know that I am the true ruler.
So, I wanted to have a Synth be the 'face' of my...I guess civilization?
It would prevent me from being the target of assassinations.
It wouldn't prevent having a target on my back due to the greed for my tech and weapons.
But to those particular enemies, I will not show mercy.
Other than that I have also filled my armory, food storage, workshop/lab, infirmary, and gathered a bunch of useful stuff, and put it into the ship's cargo bay.
As for my crew, I had 250 Crew Members and enough space for 25 guest passengers.
I had racial diversity when it came to my crew and every member of my crew does have their own personalities now, which means I will regularly monitor and interact with them to make sure nothing is wrong.
I was constantly armed with a simple but very effective lasgun that had an improved fission battery that would allow for hundreds of shots before having the need to recharge or change into a new battery.
I also had an improved energy shield that can protect me from quite a bit of damage and I even managed to make multiple new versions of the energy shield that I have incorporated into my skinsuit that I wear under my clothes.
These new shields I created protected me from radiation, extreme heat, and extreme cold.
I even managed to build in a device that would allow me to breathe in recycled oxygen that I produced and oxygen from a small oxygen canister and due to this handy device and the help of my other devices, I would be able to survive in space for a while in case of an emergency.
Now then, onto the many research projects, I currently have running.
I have begun research onto quantum physics shrinking, which was the science used in the Marvel Universe to create the Ant-man suit and Pym-particles and with this technology that I am researching, we can do quite a bit of things with this technology!
It could greatly increase the number of cargo spaceships could hold as well as increase the number of items that can be stored in storage depots and factories!
It would also allow us great military strength as well, but I don't plan on using them in such a way because it would become expensive real fast...
But while that research project was on the way, I also had research projects on other important or useful things such as a 'Gate' which would be two structures in different locations in the universe that would allow instantaneous travel and could be considered a form of an Einstein-Rosen Bridge.
I also had research going on new and better vehicles, weapons, and armor as well as research on more civilization development topics such as construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and more.
All in all, I got a lot more work done in these past two years than the years that came before!
These projects would be researched without me by several groups of Synth scientists and if they happen to reach success, then they will be able to communicate to me via the Holocom on the ship that has a large enough range to cover this galaxy.
The Holocom technology that I was using came from the Star Wars Universe but I upgraded it with the knowledge I gained from the Forerunners and spread it throughout my civilization making it the most convenient way to communicate with others.
But enough about that! It's time to get the show on the road!
