When 001 awakens, he notices two things. One, it is getting brighter, and two, the person he killed has had their body drained of its blood. ~ "Well that confirms it, I'm a bloody vampire!", [I need to cover myself up or I'll melt into a pile of blood, or something else undesirable.] ~ He is reluctant to take the clothes of the man he killed to help cover him up, as that person's clothes are designed to be noticeable.
He then looks at the village, and he smiles, "I wonder how much blood I can drink before I'm full?" ~ A huge smile appears on his face. While his teeth are those of humans, if one bites down hard enough, even if it's not vampire's teeth, it will tear flesh.
He doesn't even bother to clean himself, while he is smart, his current hunger for blood is too strong for him to simply say no to it.
After he makes his way down, he starts a massacre.
{Gu Yue clan head's room}
"Damn that Bai clan! Not only do they have an A-grade talent, but now they show him off like some kind of trophy! Sending him off on his first mission. Saying things like, 'his first mission is to hunt a blood path, demonic cultivator!' When I get my hands Ba..." ~ Gu Yue Bo is visibly upset.
"Ahem!" ~ Gu Yue Mo Chen signals that everyone can hear him.
Gu Yue Bo straightens his posture, "Now, Let's discuss a plan to get rid of this little nuisance."
Chi Lian is the first to break the silence. ~ "Personally I think assassination will be impossible, sending Bai Ning Bing, is likely not only to show off their prized possession but likely also to aggravate us into an aggressive response, like sending an assassin. In other words, it's a trap!"
Everyone else nods at that point.
"I think it is best, for now, to keep nurturing the younger generation, surely an A-grade will appear within the next two years" ~ This time Yao Ji speaks up. She used to be a violent person, but as she gets older she has grandkids, and one of them in two years will go through the awakening ceremony, and just like any grandma, she hopes her grandkid will be the 'one'.
Mo Chen and Chi Lian also have grandkids that are going to the awakening chamber in the next two years, as such they have no objection.
Gu Yue Bo notices this and is going to complain, but he is already tired from staying up all night and figures since the sun is rising, it would be best to get a nap, and as such dismisses the meeting.
That is when someone comes running into the clan head's room. He immediately bows, signaling for permission to speak.
"Speak" ~ Gu Yue Bo wants to tell him off but decides that it must be important if someone is willing to interrupt the meeting.
"Reporting! Gu Yue Dou and the village he guards have all been found dead, along with all their blood drained!"
