บท 145: Wrong target and Valerie's fear

After almost 30 minutes of dozing off, Valerie finally woke up.

"Oh God, I shouldn't have fallen asleep!" she exclaimed in annoyance, then sat up and massaged her stiff back.

She got up from the bed with her nightgown, then walked towards the bathroom adjacent to the dressing room. She cleaned herself up, always wearing a blue bra and underwear set and a black open-sleeved nightgown, then walked back to the main room.

"Why hasn't Viviane brought breakfast for me yet?" She asked as she walked towards the vanity table.

"Oh my, I look so pale... I have to look fresh even though I'm always at home."

She quickly sat down, applied some sunscreen, let it dry, and proceeded with her makeup routine, but it didn't make her look any better.

"Aghhh!"

A scream from outside startled her, followed by the sound of something crashing. The woman immediately panicked, got up from her chair, and hurriedly left the room.
