บท 445: Who Need Happiness?

When Eve left Damien's room, she heard the sound of a large troop of knights. They stopped in front of her. Killian was standing in the middle of them, wearing the strange uniform of a knight.

"You are going back,." she summarized, looking at the official uniforms of other empires and their cold faces. Killian sighed but nodded his head.

"The foundation ceremony had ended a long time ago. The envoys from other empires had already returned after their tribute. Eve!" He took a step closer and held her hands. It looked like he wanted to hug her and ask her many things. His eyes kept trembling as he looked at her but in the end, he only shook his head.

"Soon, my father will write to his majesty about the route he was so obsessed with. I hope you would take the initiative to supervise the task then. 

I will make sure you meet your family there. You are never alone. I will find a way to meet you again." he squeezed her hands in his arms and she smiled.
