บท 50: Blame your rotten fate

Chen Mumu was in the middle of buying ingredients to prepare a celebratory meal for the evening. She was just about to pick the spicy soup base for her hotpot when her phone suddenly rang. She glanced at it once, then twice, thinking it must be a mistake. There was no way Mao Liu was calling her directly. Normally, if he needed anything from her, he would have someone else contact her. 

But given that he was calling her personally, there could only be one issue—the news that Director Zhang had selected her as the female lead for the upcoming film. Chen Mumu knew Mao Liu well.
