"Do something!" Valerie cried out seeing Levi foaming from the mouth.
"Will you give that a rest? What the hell am I supposed to do?"
But it wasn't long before Levi's body completely went limp and since the prison Mephistopheles was in didn't break apart, he was still alive but not breathing.
"I'll never get used to that..." Valerie commented in his ability to stay alive while not breathing.
Levi on the other hand was trapped in darkness, the same familial darkness that's been visiting his dreams and sometimes waking moments.
He couldn't see anything, let alone walk. He was lying on a cold damp floor, his body burning stronger than any sun under the sky. Every second he felt millions of blades piercing every inch of his skin.
The feeling would go away a second later but then come rushing back like a hail storm threatening to break every brick his house was made of.
