"Yes. That's the agreement." Albert nodded. "You can get stronger in this era and try to rule the continent again. While you're doing that, you're going to submit to me… I mean, her."

The salamander gritted his teeth. He obviously didn't like it, but he had used all the words to reject her.

At the same time, the latter allowed him to get stronger instead of suppressing him. Their status might change in the future.
