Amidst the chaos that had erupted within the palace, Aryan found himself navigating a treacherous path, with danger lurking at every corner. The Udra kingdom's delegation had launched a violent assault on the palace guards in response to the news of Shubh Udrabhan's death, seeking retribution and creating further turmoil.
Aryan knew that he needed to establish an alibi for himself and avoid being linked to the treasury heist, all while aiding in quelling the mayhem that had engulfed the palace.
As he moved through the palace's corridors, he could hear the sounds of battle growing louder, and his heart raced in anticipation of the impending confrontation.
The Udra soldiers were highly trained and determined, posing a significant threat to the palace's security. Aryan knew that he had to act swiftly and decisively to help bring order back to the palace and ensure that his mission would not be compromised.
As he turned a corner, he encountered a group of Udra soldiers engaged in a fierce battle with palace guards. The clash of weapons and the cries of combat filled the air, creating a chaotic and dangerous atmosphere.
Without hesitation, Aryan leaped into the fray.
Although his combat skills were almost zero, but with Moksha by his side, he didn't need to engage in close combat himself.
With a little thought, Moksha automatic floated up in the air, right beside him.
At this time, the Udra soldiers also noticed his presence and a few soldiers took the initiative to charge at him.
"Oh, looks like you particularly are in a hurry. "
Aryan said sarcastically and flicked his finger towards him.
Moksha seemed to follow his command and flew towards the incoming soldier like a bullet.
"Argh! "
Before the soldier even had the time to react, the spear passed through his throat in a straight line, killing him on spot.
But it didn't stop there and after coming out from the other side of his body, the spear glowed slightly and turned into multiple small spears.
With swift and precise movements, the rain of spears mauled the Udra soldiers, nailing some to the wall, slitting someone's throat, slicing someone into pieces, etc.
His fighting style was fluid and efficient, a deadly dance of strikes and counters. Not a single Kalinga soldier was injured by his spears during this attack.
Word of a mysterious warrior clad in blood-soaked attire quickly spread among the Udra soldiers. They were taken aback by Aryan's skills and determination. Some began to doubt the wisdom of their attack, while others remained resolute in their mission.
Aryan's actions were instrumental in turning the tide of the battle. With the Udra soldiers losing ground, the palace guards gained confidence and pressed their advantage. The chaotic skirmishes began to subside as order was gradually restored.
As Aryan fought alongside the palace guards, he couldn't help but wonder about the broader implications of his actions. He had entered the palace with a singular mission to steal the treasury's wealth, but he now found himself protecting the very kingdom he had infiltrated and robbed.
Unconsciously, Bhanumati's gentle face appeared in his mind , but he quickly focused on the battle.
The battle has already continued for half an hour. By now most of the Udra soldiers were subdued , those who didn't surrender were killed and the palace remained secure. Now all that remained were a few stragglers who had previously seperated from the main unit.
His actions earned the respect of the palace guards, who began to view him as a savior in their time of need.
Meanwhile, King Chitrangad had convened an emergency meeting with his ministers in a desperate attempt to restore order to the palace. The ministers discussed strategies to address the crisis, but Bhanumati's anxiety grew with each passing moment as Aryan's absence weighed heavily on her heart.
Back in the midst of the battle, Aryan noticed that some of the Udra soldiers had begun to retreat, realizing the futility of their mission. With the remaining intruders outnumbered and demoralized, the palace guards swiftly gained the upper hand.
Aryan seized the opportunity to address the Udra soldiers, raising his voice above the din of battle. "Your mission here has failed. The palace is secure, and further violence will only lead to more bloodshed. Lay down your arms, and you will be shown mercy."
His words resonated with some of the Udra soldiers, who had come to recognize the futility of their actions. Slowly but surely, they began to surrender, laying down their weapons and submitting to the palace guards.
The chaos that had gripped the palace was finally coming to an end. Aryan's presence and his intervention in the battle had been pivotal in restoring order and preventing further bloodshed.
With the Udra soldiers disarmed and captured, Aryan stepped back from the front lines, his blood-soaked attire a testament to the intensity of the conflict. He had successfully created an alibi for himself, his involvement in the battle serving as a cover for his heist in the treasury.
As the palace guards took custody of the captured Udra soldiers, Aryan couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and relief. He had not only secured a significant portion of the treasury's wealth but had also helped save the palace from the brink of chaos.
He was such a good person..... Oh fuck he was a good person. He was the one who created this chaos in the first place.
However, he knew that his mission was far from over. The stolen treasure was hidden in the underground tunnel, waiting to be retrieved. More importantly, Aryan's actions had set in motion a series of events that would shape the destiny of Kalinga.
After this incident, Udra kingdom, or more specifically, Paundraka has a valid reason to attack Kalinga with moral high ground on his side.
After all, the captive prince and the peace delegation sent to rescue him, all of them were brutally murdered by the Kalinga kingdom. This was clearly blowing the horn of war.
