The four of them finished eating and stood up to leave. Just as they were doing so, Taron took Ning and Saphandra to the side to speak in private.
"You guys aren't mad that I'm doing this, are you?" Taron asked.
"Not really," Ning said. "As long as you know what you're doing, I see no problem."
"I couldn't care less either," Saphandra said.
"Thank you," Taron said.
"Right, do you want me to dye your hair? I can make it so that it doesn't wash off," Ning said.
"Yes, if you can, thanks," Taron said. "I will visit your room tonight. Also, I have something else to say."
"What is it?" Ning asked.
"We won't be dropping off at Darius. I will take a connecting ship directly to the Thousand Summons school," Taron said.
"Well, that seems a little hasty but sure," Ning said.
"What will you do when you find a spaceship coming? How will you let me know?" Taron asked.
