It was Valerie's first time spending the night at Myrtle's place. She helped Adrienne spread the mattress on the floor and took the pillows from Myrtle. As she lay down next to Adrienne, a sense of warmth and contentment bloomed in her heart. However, remembering the report she received that morning effectively soured her mood. 

"Addie, you were right. Airi was up to something." She muttered quite quietly as she stared at the white ceiling. 

The lampshade next to Myrtle's bed provided scant illumination for the space. The soft glow of the lampshade cast gentle shadows on the walls, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Valerie could feel her eyelids growing heavy, but her mind still raced about Airi's suspicious activities. She couldn't shake off the feeling of unease, even in the comfort of Myrtle's room.
